This is something i've been wanting to work on again for a while.
I was working on it almost 2 years ago but then lost my motivation for it.
Now, thanks to the 'creative writing group' meetings i've been attending to get my confidence up after deciding to become an author, i decided to dig it up last week and give it a total overhaul.
The first chapter was very well received when i took it into the meeting today, so i'm most likely going to continue the story and have it become my first completed work.
Synopsis: Trey Barnes is an ordinary 16 year old boy living an ordinary life alongside his kindly grandfather. But what is he supposed to do when everything suddenly falls apart, and he's forced into assisting mystery girl Ruby Jewel on a perilous escape from widespread ruin? Returning home is out of the question, so Trey finds himself with a question of his own to answer. Where does he go from here?
