The shimmer of hope for candy in their eyes
The idea of the dead being dead dies
As they all come back alive
The children, teens, and adults are all surprised
Within the spirits and monsters, truth lies
So to get what you want, you must talk to the dead that rise
To the depths of the paranormal or supernatural, you must dive
"Halloween will be fine" everyone surmised.
Everything about Halloween is not a small size
It's not just candy, costumes, or pumpkin pies
Beware of what may happen on Halloween, of which amusement was not meant to derive
Boo!
