Well, I found some old poems I wrote for school assignments and felt like sharing them:
The Devil’s Door
A dream, it may be
A child’s eyes
Naive and stung red
By the sweat from the early run
That blazing sea of sand
Like the river Styx
The path I took
Lead to amusement and horror
The kicked up earth
A flare, rare crimson shown
Metal corner caught my eye
Curiosity’s brush reveals a secret
A swarm of dust
Torments and swirled like locust
Charon betrays me
Hands and feet splash in the flames
Memory fades away
A second thought never given
Swimming that same sea
Curiosity’s flame rekindled
A nightmare to be re-lived
The search for that metal, red door
Consumed by flames?
Never found again the Devil’s door.
Pyramids
Always motionless
Standing proud and strong through time
Ancient but advanced
The Moon
A Wonder to man
Glowing in the night
Cold and isolated place
Painting
Painting is a thrill
Use your imagination
Make a masterpiece
Chicken
A delicious bird
Original or crispy
Finger licking good
Birds
Soaring through the sky
Wings flapping for dear life
A wondrous thing
The Ocean
Waves crashing on the cliffs
Isolated from the world
No sound but the tide.
