shadows of time (my very first peom)

I wrote this when I was about 11 years old one of the very first poems I wrote if not the exact first, as such it is definitely one of the shortest

We live day to day longing for the next,
when we're young we want to grow older,
when we're old we want nothing more then to be young again,
we grow cold lost in the shadows of time,
broken, we rise just for fall again.

Woahhhh, that's rather impressive for a first poem written at the age of 11. Surprised that you could reminisce on the past at such an early age.

You've piqued my interest, do you have any other poems/stories to share?

plenty many of which iv already written or posted somewhere outside of fakku, I'm prolly gonna post a story or two before I focus on the poetry.
just hope the writing section mods will let me keep my poetry and storys separate.

The writing section is pretty lax about it. The key thing you want to remember is that you don't want to post separate threads in quick succession. Being on the front page is close to the only publicity that an person on the writing section is going to get.

Just space em out and you'll be fine.
