Like a bored cat on a workday I've been batting around this idea for a while and decided to act on it. Soon I'm going to be getting a Minecraft server to keep up in perpetuity. Why is this relevant to the writing section? I'm glad you asked!
I plan to make this server a hardcore server, and depending on how many people I can get to join me I want to chronicle the adventures of our raggle taggle band of heroes on their quest of doing....whatever it is we decide to do. The risks are as high as possible in a video game and I could see this being insanely fun to make our way in the world and write a tale about it.
So, what do you fine gentlemen and ladies think of this proposition?
After being away on a month-long vacation without Fakku, I have returned. I would have said something in the writer's lounge, but for some reason it has become locked.
Forgive me for this delayed response to your humble request. I have not yet played Minecraft and have little interest in doing so, but I could see the appeal in playing with a group of comrades. The problem is that I'm more inclined to want to play games with a story and less monotonous, repetitive, grinding activity. I unfortunately also returned to find a hefty amount of work I need to catch up on and thus won't have the time for it as of yet even if I had the motivation to. I do hope you do find some people, and this isn't an outright 'no' from me, however, I would likely only tag along if there is a following. Apologies.
It is nice to hear from you, though. Sometimes I worry about you, but I realize I'm also one to talk. While we're on the topic, I should also say hello to another old comrade.
You overestimate my ability to care or delve into other sections in this forum. I just had the other thread bookmarked. It's okay, someone linked me to the new one and I'll post there.
