Hi all i am new here and while being here i decided that maybe this would be a great time to see what people thought of my book. I am currently at 6 chapters starting 7 i am just going to post one for now if i get good replies i will add more as i continue i actually hope to make this an anime one day.
The “Vaccine”
Chapter 1 - The Surprise
It was the last week of school of my seventh grade year. My two best friends were moving on to high school next year and I was going to be left behind. I was exhausted from all the studying I did the night before. I woke up to a shake of my desk and a very annoying “Mr.Cord Wake up.” As I opened my eyes I realized it was my English teacher waking me up as the day was over. He then asked me to stay behind for a few minutes to talk. I thought oh god what could he want now? I had enough shit going on at the moment.
“Mr.Cord you are one of my best students so why are you sleeping in my class at the end of the year?” I then Looked up at him and said “Look I was up all night studying so I was tired and slept, I’m as you said a great student and I’ve got my own plans for next year!” He then looked at me and sighed “Ok just don’t overdo it. See you tomorrow.” I then walked out of the classroom half asleep by the way my name is Elven Cord.
I was happy that was over and felt bad that I had to tell my friends we would have to close the Computer Shop for the summer. I was walking towards our usual meet. I then saw my two friends standing there in the corner the one on the right was my friend Rippy, He was wearing a bunch of wristbands he had on an ICP T-shirt and was wearing long pants with chains hanging from them.
The One on the left was Raven Silvar, Today he was wearing a T-Shirt that he had personally put the name of his favorite j-rock band on the front and blue jeans with maker and rips all over them. “Hey Guys what’s up?” Rippy then turned to me and said “What’s This e-mail about you closing the Cord Rippy and Silvar Computer repair shop?” Raven then looked at me and said “Look Elven we have been friends all year and we opened our own computer shop and the first summer we’re going to be open and now we’re not?”
I shuffled my hands as not knowing what to say “Look guys I know that but I won’t be able to pay the bills for it because I will be busy all summer and won’t have any free time.” Rippy looked at me and started to speak “Elven how can” Raven cut him off “Look Echo’s our friend and if he says he can’t he can’t leave it at that I’m sure he has his reasons” We then all said bye and parted. I felt bad that we wouldn’t be open and we wouldn’t be able to hang out but I had a very brutal summer ahead.
Well this summer was pretty dull and nothing important happened except the fact that my friends thought I had abandoned them because I didn’t talk to them until one week before school started. I had been studying and testing all summer and no not because I had failed. I was doing this because I wanted to be with my friends when they went to High School. On the last week of summer break I called them up and told them to haul ass to the shop I was able to open. Of Course they were both there in half the time it would normally take.
As they both ran in out of breath and ready to faint from the heat I tossed them both ice cold bottled water. Which was gone in a matter of seconds then they both collapsed from drinking cold water so quick. They were lucky I put down pillows or else that really would have hurt. They were both pretty tough mentally and never gave up so they were up within about five minutes. Once they came to they both looked at me and screamed “Where have you been?!?” I looked at them ready to laugh “Oh so you rush over here I have water ready and pillows for you to pass out on and all u can do is scream at me? Seems you guys lost your manners” We all looked at each other and began to burst out laughing.
Raven looked at me and said “well too bad we couldn’t open this summer” rippy then nodded in agreement. I then looked over to our normally empty rack of need to be repaired computers and said “What do you guys mean? Business is better than ever!” They then looked at each other and then back at me and rippy said “Elven what on earth are you” He stopped in mid sentence as I directed their eyes towards the 5 full racks of need to be fixed. Their jaws dropped and they looked at me and screamed “HOW?!”
So I started laughing and said “Well you see with us being shut down through the summer a lot of people said they wouldn’t take their computers anywhere else because they knew they would get ripped off so I decided for one week we would open, it’s a lot more than I expected though you guys ready for the challenge?” they again looked at each other and then me and said “Hell yea!”
We all laughed then Raven looked at me and said “But it will take hours to pull up all the software we need up on all of them” I smiled and said “Taken care of, the preparations are all done now shall we get started?” We all then began working like crazy Rippy did the software work, Elven did the hardware, and Raven did the Graphics. When the day was over we were all exhausted we had done a rack a piece 2 left to go and we had made a major amount of money. I looked at them and said “How about since we just got some money and I think we’re all hungry let’s go get some food and then come back finish the last 2 racks and pass out?” Rippy then said “Sounds good I’m Starved!” Raven said “I could go for some food and a night over in the shop sounds nice to finally a night out woot!”
We then decided we were too exhausted to go anywhere so we ordered take out. As we were sitting there enjoying our food while Rippy was more of stuffing his face I decided to bring up the upcoming school year. “So guys are your classes any good this year?”
Rippy said excitedly “Yea man we have all the same classes this is going to be awesome!” Raven then immediately rammed Rippy in the ribs with his elbow “Rippy, you asshole! Elven isn’t going to be with us this year.” Rippy then gasped for air and said something you could barely make out “Oh yea my bad” he then fell to the ground me and Raven began to laugh.
When Rippy got up he said “Sorry about that Elven and you Raven I swear I’m going to get you back when you least expect it!” I looked and them and said “It’s ok guys this year’s going to be great!” Raven looked at me funny and said “Wow you sure are more enthusiastic about it than I expected” I thought yea me too and said “I guess you never know what will happen until you try right?” Rippy looked at me and laughed and then said “Yea that is true”
We continued to work into the night. We woke in the morning to the rest of the customers at the door ready for their pc’s back. Once we were done we all went home and showered and met at the mall to get some new stuff we had all been wanting. As we parted to head home I said to them “See you guys this week at the shop, maybe sooner” They both were kind of confused and laughed and said “Ok” and we went our separate ways.
We continued to fix computers over the rest of the week but business wasn’t as good as it was at first of course. The day was finally here Raven and Rippy’s first day of High School. Little did they know I studied all summer so that I could pass the 8th grade exams and move on to high school with them. I got there super early and sat in a corner most I could tell wouldn’t visit. I had my hood covering me and waited because I knew this would be where they would come.
They got there soon after and I was waiting for the right moment and they both screamed “Elven get your ass up we know your there.” Shit I forgot about that I’m not sure what it was but we always had this way of being able to find each other no matter the circumstances. I guess it was like a sixth sense or something of that sort.
I then jumped up and screamed “Surprise”. They both looked at me in complete confusion then Rippy went to speak “What” Raven cut him off almost immediately “So this is why you couldn’t talk to us all summer huh?” Rippy looked and said “Why didn’t you tell us? We could’ve helped” I then looked up and said “It was supposed to be a surprise, but you guys found me immediately because I forgot about that thing”
Raven then laughed and said “Yea you should’ve known we would find you” He then smiled and we all began to laugh.
I then looked at them and they had this same look on their faces right when I did, it was a look of confusion and fear of what it was. I then said “Is it just me or did a couple more sensors just pop up?” Raven said “Yea man this makes no sense used to it was only us who we could sense and now it’s more than just the three of us”
Rippy then said “There are now four more, but only one is the same type as us the other three are different” I then looked scared shitless and said trembling “Different how?” Raven looked and thought about it “Yup that’s got to be what it is” Rippy said “What, what are the others?” I Looked up and said “I agree raven and I like it” Rippy was still confused I directed his eyes to the four other sensors going off and he got the biggest smile ever. Rippy then smiled and said “I like”.
We figured they had seen us like we saw them but they all completely walked by us as if it was nothing. We looked at each other and said “Wow so we can sense them but they can’t sense us?” We were all completely confused but then the guy that was with the three females stopped and walked over to us as the girls kept walking.
He stood in front of us and then said “Hi my name’s Max Drusus, but who are you guys?” I looked at him and said “What kind of question is that to randomly walk up to us and ask who we are?” he then looked at us and said sorry my mistake I thought you were someone else. He then began to walk away and raven said “Stop, you didn’t mistaken us you felt something so you came over here right?”
Max then stopped and turned and said “So I wasn’t imagining things” I looked at him and said “no you weren’t” Rippy then said “We honestly don’t know what this is but until you and those other three walked by we have only had that happen with each other.” Max looked at us and said “Same with me until now it’s only been them I could sense but they don’t have it it’s weird.”
We all looked at each other and I said “Well maybe we will see you in class or something” Max then said “Me and the three of them have the same classes what about you guys” Rippy then said “We have all the same classes” Raven and Max then compared their classes. Everyone then looked at each other as if it was some sort of a conspiracy.

The story's good. but why the sudden story change from computers to mystery connection between the 3 guys and the new one?

Because the whole reason for the computer shop closing was because my character was studying all summer. The story is supposed to start off as them just being normal teenagers but they really aren't. I will go ahead and add chapter 2 so maybe it starts to fit a little more. lol
Chapter 2 – Signs of Insanity?
After the first two classes of the day it was time for lunch. Max was in line I was enjoying the sun eating a bag of chips with Raven and Rippy. Suddenly one of the sensors was going off and I saw the staircase to my right. It was one of the girls Max was with earlier. She tripped and was starting to fall down the stairs. I ran towards her and yelled “No!” and flung my hands up as if to catch her but to the shock of me and my friends she was blown back up to the top of the stairs and was ok. I looked at her and then my hands smiling I couldn’t believe what had just happened.
She looked at me with a go to hell look and Max Came around the corner and said “What happened Marybeth?” She looked at me and pointed “You! I am going to kill you, you pervert pulling my skirt up!” I looked and my mouth dropped “I Did not” She then came running towards me I began to run and yelled back to Raven and Rippy “Tell Max what really happened no time to talk” I then said “Get away from me you crazy bitch” and kept on running my ass of I did a u-turn barely dodging her foot aimed for a very unpleasant place.
I then ran back over to them and out of breath said “Did you tell him what happened” Max then looked at me and said “Yea but I don’t believe a word of it” I then looked at him and said “You’ve got to be kidding me!” Then this girl Marybeth was back and Max quickly moved out of her way she came running and her leg went in for the kick. I don’t know how yet again but I jumped and somehow made a wind out of thin air which shot me up into the air away from Marybeth.
Out of breath yet again and again completely amazed I said “Now do you believe me?!” Marybeth was coming straight for me again and Max stopped her. Marybeth said “Move Max I’m going to make him pay for looking under my skirt!” Max then looked at her and said “Did you see what just happened?” I interrupted “Look I swear I wasn’t looking up your skirt, Raven give Max 4 of the company’s Cards” Raven then handed them to Max.
He looked at me and then said “What’s this?” Rippy Replied “It’s Our Computer shop It’s not far from here” I then looked and said “I’m not sure what happened either but meet us there after school so we can discuss this and if you ever need anything all our numbers are on there you can call anytime” Max Looked at Marybeth and said “We just have to try and figure this out, I’m not entirely sure what’s going on but we can figure it out later.”
The bell for our lunch to end rang and we cleared out and headed to our next class. When we got there I was still getting this evil look from Marybeth. I was wishing this would quickly end because although she tried to destroy my future, I thought she was beautiful and wanted to get to know her more. Not to mention I like a girl who doesn’t mind hurting someone who did her wrong. I began to grin as I daydreamed, however her evil stare broke right through my daydream and now the dream was shot.
So this was our history class it seemed so boring talking about crap that had happened in the past. To me it was completely irrelevant because it was in the past I had no care for it. Suddenly as I was sitting there thinking about how meaningless it was I had a flash back of some sort or something like that. It was the weirdest thing I had ever had happen I looked and saw what looked like people fighting it was night and there was blood everywhere.
I could barely see the faces of the people but I made them out. The people I saw were Raven and Marybeth, Suddenly something came out of nowhere and in one swift swing knocked them to the ground unconscious. As this happened I ran towards them and screamed “No”. “Elven what’s wrong man?” said Rippy. I looked around and I was in the classroom standing up with my arm reached out as everyone in the room looked at me as if I were a psycho and then began laughing.
The teacher gave me a very evil look and said “Elven, are you trying to be a clown on the first day disrupting my class?!” I then looked up and said “No sorry for disrupting” I then took my seat as I got weird looks for the rest of class. I pretty much slept through the last class so I didn’t have to get the looks from before.
I immediately awoke when the bell for school to let out rang. I grabbed my bag and ran like the wind. I figured the others would meet me at the shop. I got there a lot quicker than normal, I grabbed an ice cold water slammed it down and passed out. When I came to from my exhaustion everyone was there.
I looked up and saw them all gathered at the table having a drink and talking about both the incidents I had. Raven looked over “Oh look who finally decided to join us!” Everyone began laughing “Sorry about that I said today just was not my day.” Marybeth then looked at me and said “Yea no kidding I get to high school and on the very first day I have a pervert violating me”
I looked up pretty irritated and said “Look say what you want but I knew you were going to fall so I ran to catch you and instead you were blown back up onto the stairs!” She then looked at me as if I was literally insane and said “What do you mean you knew I was going to fall? Maybe you are insane like everyone in the class thinks” I looked over to max “Max please explain to her because she won’t believe anyone else” She looked at max and said explain what?”
Max looked up and sighed “Well you see Marybeth have you ever noticed how every time you and your friends are in trouble or about to get hurt I show up?” Marybeth looked confused and said “Yes I do but what does that have to do with anything?” Max looked at her and said “Well you see I’ve always had like this sixth sense to where I could always find you, Lilith, and Robyn no matter where you were and I could also tell when you were in danger” Marybeth looked at him still in shock and couldn’t speak.
Rippy then looked at Marybeth and said “The three of us have had this same thing since we met; actually I think that’s how we met, but when you, Max and your friends passed us we suddenly sensed all of you before you even came around the corner.” Marybeth then looked at Max as if saying is that true? Max just shook his head.
I then looked up and said “Look Marybeth we don’t know what it is or how we got it either but something is telling us that you and your friends have it too considering we sense you as well. Also I still have no idea what happened with me pushing you back up the stairs without touching you. However, if you still wish to call me a pervert who tried to violate you go ahead and get me back since I have gotten to say what I needed to.”
Raven and Rippy then dropped their drinks and looked at me with their jaws dropped. Max looked at them and said “What’s wrong?” Rippy and Raven looked up and said “The world is coming to an end!!” Max Looked very confused and said “I’m still completely lost.” Raven then looked up and said “Listen Elven never” He stopped and Rippy picked up where he left off “Apologizes or let’s people get him back as he just stated!”
I then looked up at them and said “Well guys this situation is a lot different from others. First off she doesn’t believe me and second we don’t know what really happened” As soon as I looked at Max he had this look like oh shit on his face. Suddenly something came flying from across the room. I began to scream and gasping for air. That Marybeth had really overdone it she threw a softball from across the room and hit me right between my legs.
Rippy jumped up and ran to get ice while Raven put some cold water in a baggie and got a towel. Max them looked at me and said “I’m sorry but that’s one thing you don’t do is tell her It’s ok. Because then she really overdoes it.” Marybeth walked over and raised my head up and said “That’s what you get for violating me you damn pervert!” She then slapped my across my face so hard I fell out of the chair and onto the floor.
It made this huge cracking sound. She then headed over to Max and said let’s go. But before she left she said “Maybe this will teach you to be a pervert!” She then walked out slamming the door behind her. Raven and Rippy had gotten the ice pack made and handed it to me.
Rippy looked at me and said “What a feisty bitch man.” Raven then looked at me and said “What are we going to do with you Elven? Your first day in high school and you’re not old enough and get a girl to hate you and make our whole history class think your mental.”
Raven and Rippy both sighed and then Rippy said “By the way what was that in history class?” I looked up basically whispering because I was still in pain “You guys would think I was crazy” They both laughed and said “Elven after the shit that happened today there’s no way we would think you’re anymore crazy than normal”
We all began to laugh and then I squealed out in pain, laughing wasn’t such a good idea in my condition. I then looked up to them and said “It was weird like a flash back it was night time and there was blood everywhere as if it were a battlefield. I saw two people I knew fighting something on the battlefield” Rippy then looked at me confused and said “Who were the two people?”
I then said “Raven and Marybeth. Suddenly something came out of nowhere and in one swift swing knocked them both down and unconscious and that’s when I screamed no!” Raven looked at me and said “But we just met Marybeth today so how could that be?” I then looked out the window at the sunset and said “I’m not sure I just know something isn’t right here.”

I am going to kill you, you pervert pulling my skirt up!” I looked and my mouth dropped “I Did not” She then came running towards me I began to run and yelled back to Raven and Rippy “Tell Max what really happened no time to talk” I then said “Get away from me you crazy bitch” and kept on running my ass of I did a u-turn barely dodging her foot aimed for a very unpleasant place.
I then ran back over to them and out of breath said “Did you tell him what happened” Max then looked at me and said “Yea but I don’t believe a word of it” I then looked at him and said “You’ve got to be kidding me!” Then this girl Marybeth was back and Max quickly moved out of her way she came running and her leg went in for the kick. I don’t know how yet again but I jumped and somehow made a wind out of thin air which shot me up into the air away from Marybeth.
Out of breath yet again and again completely amazed I said “Now do you believe me?!” Marybeth was coming straight for me again and Max stopped her. Marybeth said “Move Max I’m going to make him pay for looking under my skirt!” Max then looked at her and said “Did you see what just happened?” I interrupted “Look I swear I wasn’t looking up your skirt, Raven give Max 4 of the company’s Cards” Raven then handed them to Max.
He looked at me and then said “What’s this?” Rippy Replied “It’s Our Computer shop It’s not far from here” I then looked and said “I’m not sure what happened either but meet us there after school so we can discuss this and if you ever need anything all our numbers are on there you can call anytime” Max Looked at Marybeth and said “We just have to try and figure this out, I’m not entirely sure what’s going on but we can figure it out later.”
The bell for our lunch to end rang and we cleared out and headed to our next class. When we got there I was still getting this evil look from Marybeth. I was wishing this would quickly end because although she tried to destroy my future, I thought she was beautiful and wanted to get to know her more. Not to mention I like a girl who doesn’t mind hurting someone who did her wrong. I began to grin as I daydreamed, however her evil stare broke right through my daydream and now the dream was shot.
So this was our history class it seemed so boring talking about crap that had happened in the past. To me it was completely irrelevant because it was in the past I had no care for it. Suddenly as I was sitting there thinking about how meaningless it was I had a flash back of some sort or something like that. It was the weirdest thing I had ever had happen I looked and saw what looked like people fighting it was night and there was blood everywhere.
I could barely see the faces of the people but I made them out. The people I saw were Raven and Marybeth, Suddenly something came out of nowhere and in one swift swing knocked them to the ground unconscious. As this happened I ran towards them and screamed “No”. “Elven what’s wrong man?” said Rippy. I looked around and I was in the classroom standing up with my arm reached out as everyone in the room looked at me as if I were a psycho and then began laughing.
The teacher gave me a very evil look and said “Elven, are you trying to be a clown on the first day disrupting my class?!” I then looked up and said “No sorry for disrupting” I then took my seat as I got weird looks for the rest of class. I pretty much slept through the last class so I didn’t have to get the looks from before.
I immediately awoke when the bell for school to let out rang. I grabbed my bag and ran like the wind. I figured the others would meet me at the shop. I got there a lot quicker than normal, I grabbed an ice cold water slammed it down and passed out. When I came to from my exhaustion everyone was there.
I looked up and saw them all gathered at the table having a drink and talking about both the incidents I had. Raven looked over “Oh look who finally decided to join us!” Everyone began laughing “Sorry about that I said today just was not my day.” Marybeth then looked at me and said “Yea no kidding I get to high school and on the very first day I have a pervert violating me”
I looked up pretty irritated and said “Look say what you want but I knew you were going to fall so I ran to catch you and instead you were blown back up onto the stairs!” She then looked at me as if I was literally insane and said “What do you mean you knew I was going to fall? Maybe you are insane like everyone in the class thinks” I looked over to max “Max please explain to her because she won’t believe anyone else” She looked at max and said explain what?”
Max looked up and sighed “Well you see Marybeth have you ever noticed how every time you and your friends are in trouble or about to get hurt I show up?” Marybeth looked confused and said “Yes I do but what does that have to do with anything?” Max looked at her and said “Well you see I’ve always had like this sixth sense to where I could always find you, Lilith, and Robyn no matter where you were and I could also tell when you were in danger” Marybeth looked at him still in shock and couldn’t speak.
Rippy then looked at Marybeth and said “The three of us have had this same thing since we met; actually I think that’s how we met, but when you, Max and your friends passed us we suddenly sensed all of you before you even came around the corner.” Marybeth then looked at Max as if saying is that true? Max just shook his head.
I then looked up and said “Look Marybeth we don’t know what it is or how we got it either but something is telling us that you and your friends have it too considering we sense you as well. Also I still have no idea what happened with me pushing you back up the stairs without touching you. However, if you still wish to call me a pervert who tried to violate you go ahead and get me back since I have gotten to say what I needed to.”
Raven and Rippy then dropped their drinks and looked at me with their jaws dropped. Max looked at them and said “What’s wrong?” Rippy and Raven looked up and said “The world is coming to an end!!” Max Looked very confused and said “I’m still completely lost.” Raven then looked up and said “Listen Elven never” He stopped and Rippy picked up where he left off “Apologizes or let’s people get him back as he just stated!”
I then looked up at them and said “Well guys this situation is a lot different from others. First off she doesn’t believe me and second we don’t know what really happened” As soon as I looked at Max he had this look like oh shit on his face. Suddenly something came flying from across the room. I began to scream and gasping for air. That Marybeth had really overdone it she threw a softball from across the room and hit me right between my legs.
Rippy jumped up and ran to get ice while Raven put some cold water in a baggie and got a towel. Max them looked at me and said “I’m sorry but that’s one thing you don’t do is tell her It’s ok. Because then she really overdoes it.” Marybeth walked over and raised my head up and said “That’s what you get for violating me you damn pervert!” She then slapped my across my face so hard I fell out of the chair and onto the floor.
It made this huge cracking sound. She then headed over to Max and said let’s go. But before she left she said “Maybe this will teach you to be a pervert!” She then walked out slamming the door behind her. Raven and Rippy had gotten the ice pack made and handed it to me.
Rippy looked at me and said “What a feisty bitch man.” Raven then looked at me and said “What are we going to do with you Elven? Your first day in high school and you’re not old enough and get a girl to hate you and make our whole history class think your mental.”
Raven and Rippy both sighed and then Rippy said “By the way what was that in history class?” I looked up basically whispering because I was still in pain “You guys would think I was crazy” They both laughed and said “Elven after the shit that happened today there’s no way we would think you’re anymore crazy than normal”
We all began to laugh and then I squealed out in pain, laughing wasn’t such a good idea in my condition. I then looked up to them and said “It was weird like a flash back it was night time and there was blood everywhere as if it were a battlefield. I saw two people I knew fighting something on the battlefield” Rippy then looked at me confused and said “Who were the two people?”
I then said “Raven and Marybeth. Suddenly something came out of nowhere and in one swift swing knocked them both down and unconscious and that’s when I screamed no!” Raven looked at me and said “But we just met Marybeth today so how could that be?” I then looked out the window at the sunset and said “I’m not sure I just know something isn’t right here.”

What's the story based on? Is it original or you got some ideas from something else? The flashback seems good and nice addition with the nutbuster lol. I'll read when ever i got the time, but know i'm no english major haha. I'll reply after i read a chapter and i'll say stuff that makes it seems like i didn't just skim it. Good job on writing your book. Did you really want it to be an anime? What do you think the characters will look like?

Yea thats great. upload your next chapter i decided to read it since i wanna get to know the story more. i hope to see it in the future low budget or otherwise (thumbs up) :)
