The Diary of my last Days as the living.

BEFORE THE OUTBREAK: DAY 2 SUNDAY FEB. 2 :

I was a high school student working my ass off so i can graduate and have a meaningful and fruitful life. At least, thats what I've been told. I lived in a crappy run down apartment. One room, no roommates to bother me, no girlfriend to drain my wallet and life, no one to... i was alone.

My parents lives in a crappy third world country. Seemed to me like they pushed all there hopes and dreams onto my shoulders. I hated them for that, i hated responsibility, i hated people ,i hated the world.

I got a call from my mom, she said they're fine and well and they plan to visit me soon. I missed them. I said that i would be glad to have them over. I loved them.

And another meaningless day passed by.

DAY 1 MONDAY FEB. 3 :

MORNING
I hate Mondays, everyone's so busy with there meaningless lives. Everything is pretty much meaningless for me. I was no exception.
I was also running late, i probably missed my first period, damn!

AFTERNOON
"Late again, Mr. Jhuan." a female teacher said. I just stared back with an empty look. "I know it's non of my business, but as an educator I am concerned about a student's current life style."
I made a face and said "Why are you only concerned 'bout me? I mean there's that guy caught dealing drugs at a back alley where a guy got shot !"
"well that's ... err.." she blushed and looked away "A-anyway don't be late from now on or I'll be forced to see your parents."
"Parents? They're overseas." "R-really !? T-then thats not good for a young boy to live alone." she said while her eyes shining brightly.I noticed this and said "Err.....oookaaay." "A-anyway I'll have to check-up on your living conditions. How does Wednesday sound?" she said while blushing still. I felt like i was in a uncomfortable position, which i am, I went along with it anyways."Well it's a date then!" she said quite happily "W-well not exactly like a date bu-but you know, right, right!?" "Uh-huh." I said "I'll see you then, Yamako sensei." as I went out of the room with a grin on my face.

School was finally over and all i could think of was laying on my bed, i hoped to anyways. I had to work for my living expenses, so i worked in a dojo as an assistant instructor. Pay isn't all that well but my parents send me money anyways so i guess it's okay for now. Plus I get to play with the kids in here. Out of all the things i liked in this world I liked kids the most, since it's fun being a kid in a crappy complicated world ran by adults."Jhuan-kun, you're not tired?" A young girl in a dojo outfit said to me. "Not really" I said half-heartedly. This girl was Rina and she is my boss and she's crazy good at these martial arts stuff, she can probably kick my ass in a fair fight so I'm afraid of fighting her, well I had a few experiences in back street brawling, but that all changed when i met her. She's also younger then me, by I don't know many years since i want to save my ego years."HEEEY!! KUNG-FU IDIOTS!!" a girl in a police uniform shouted at the back of the dojo."Don't call me that! onee-chan!" The girl was Lina and she's Rina's older sister. She's a trainee in a police station somewhere around town. She maybe another reason why I stopped my back alley brawling."Hey Jhuan-kun❤" eh!.. her tone change."You're not seeing anyone right? Then why don't you and I meet up later, our tub is pretty big you know, it can even fit three people, Rina-chan, interested?" "Whaa~!! What are you- There's kids over-"
She's panicking in a very cute way, there's no way I couldn't enjoy this.
"Oh!" I noticed the clock."Well it's about time for me to leave, well, see ya." "Oh! going already? and I just came in, you're not avoiding me are ya?" "Heh, What're ya talking about, I love watching you embarrass you're sister." "gu~h! so mean" Rina whined.

EVENING
I rarely eat dinner, today was no different. It's pretty depressing in this room. But it helps me sleep a lot easier, so i like it. And with that another day passes.

MIDNIGHT
I'm in a dark room, I think. I couldn't feel, see, hear anything. I tried to look around but all I see was a great vastness of emptiness. Then a big mighty voice came out "JHUAN CHRISTO, SON OF MAN, A GREAT TRIAL AWAITS YOU. ALL THOSE AROUND YOU, THOSE THAT YOU HELD DEAR WILL SUFFER BECAUSE OF YOU. ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT THIS TRAGEDY. AND ONLY YOU HAVE THE POWER TO PROTECT ALL THAT IS DEAR TO YOU. ONE MAN ALONE CANNOT PROTECT THE WHOLE WORLD. BUT ONE MAN ALONE CAN PROTECT HIS FAMILY. HOLD THOSE THAT IS DEAR TO YOU CLOSELY. YOUR ENEMY, THE SIN OF MAN, WILL TRY TO TAKE ALL OF THEM AWAY FROM YOU. HEED MY CALL!"
I woke up covered in sweat. "What the hell was that?!"

The rule for random is "If it doesn't belong somewhere else, it goes here", not "Put all your shit here!"

ugh, I just hate it when people have nothing to say on their own and keeps on "quoting" what someone has already said over and over. The heck with that! One person saying it is good enough, if you have nothing more to add to that, will you kindly StFu?! It's uncalled for(unless the thread is Really askin' for it) and it's blatantly "rude!" His "idea" wasn't actually bad, it was merely misplaced. What he did was not as stupid as most of the threads I see here in "random" most of the time. One or two users at the very least are enough to remind him that his thread was misplaced, and that it has better be moved. If you're really concerned about matters like this, you might as well try reporting this thread or pm a Mod to help solve the slight issue.

So please show a little respect for this fella. The only thing that he really did wrong was the response he made towards Klorofolun's semi-sarcastic comment. Well, I couldn't really blame him if he was a bit offended it :?

You're work is alright, I actually liked it even though I really dislike reading a bit too much. Keep it up and I'd be awaiting your updates. I'd just like to remind you though that you'd better learn to respect your elders not only in reality, but also here in this community.

It'd definitely get the attention it deserves if it is to be moved at the "writings section." It would be best if you could do the honors of "bothering Gambler" :wink: by pm'ing him about a simple request of moving this thread. Don't worry, his pedo-bear avatar may be a 'lil bit intimidating but he's a good guy nonetheless, trust me.

The guy seems a bit too depressed considering there are some cute girls around him; even a shy teacher, nice. One is a police trainee? That just immediately made me think of Resident Evil for some reason. Either way, it sounds interesting, so keep going.

I really couldn't tolerate such acts. I've witnessed it so many times before, and it was simply annoying! It's not even funny. If you have something to say, why not say it in your own words! Those "quote-post" even adds up to one's post-count, is that even acceptable?! Even 7yrs olds could do something like that, with just "two clicks of the mouse" and there you have it. WTF?!

Well, I may be just taking things too seriously...
I just want to lessen the "stupidity" that's all!

Since a few issues were raised in this particular thread, I thought it might be a good idea to address them, though it is my own personal stand.

I have never been in favour of short single sentence replies, much less those consisting of a single word. Following my line of thought, one should be able to see that "merely a quote" reply is the least of my favourite among all 3 and in case you have not already noticed, I do delete them whenever I see them around.

I guess some of you will be unhappy about your falling post count, but I am trying to change the culture of Fakku... at least to a certain extent. I don't blame any of you for posting in such a manner because when it first began, it was left unchecked and everyone else just followed suit. Hopefully, things will change in the future.

Secondly, I would urge all members, be it an Elder or a newbie, to respect. Again, I wouldn't say anyone is at fault here. I believe it is just a misinterpretation of replies.

Lastly, getting back on topic, by outbreak, I have a tendency to think about zombies and other related events, since they seem to be all the hype these days.
