Hero Contract

Rules:
The contract cannot be terminated once the contract has been made. Only when time served, conditions and/or terms of the contract had been fulfilled, then the contract can be terminated. The terms and conditions of the contract cannot be changed after the agreement is made. Hero cannot make contract at a juvenile age. The Hero cannot deceive about his/her age. The contractor cannot give information of the contract or speak of the contract made. Hero cannot enter into more than one contract at a time. Both parties are to abide to the contract and follow instructions as stated.

The Type of Contracts:
1. Specialist Hero Contract
2. True Hero Contract

Terms of Contracts:
1. Specialists Hero Contract:
Made through handshake. The conditions of this contract are made through the agreement of both parties. The contract is upheld until the conditions are met or when a time limit has been reached, as agreed by both parties. The contract can also be terminated upon the death of either party.
2. True Hero Contract:
Made when the contractor gives the hero a token of their trust. Hero is to protect and/or serve the contractor until the time that either party dies.

Explanation of Parties:
Contractor – An individual that needs protection or a service done (as stated in the contract) by the hero.
Hero – A person instructed by the conditions of the contract to protect and/or serve the contractor and to uphold the contract.

Penalties:
1. Should the contractor tell of the contract made, then the hero will lose 2% of his/her lifespan.
2. Should the hero deceive his/her age, the result will be that contractor loses memory and hero cannot come within 100 feet of contractor with the penalty of losing 2% of his/her lifespan.
3. If the contract is broken before terms or time is met, the result will be memory loss to both parties.
4. If hero tries to make second contract, the contract will automatically be terminated, hero will lose 2% of lifespan, and both contractor and hero will suffer memory loss.

Everyone needs a hero. If you were seven and growing up in a bad neighborhood, you needed one. Thugs were on the street and crime is rampant. The day she met him, she felt there was a true hero out there.

7-year old Haruka was playing at the park, when some older kids came out and began to tease her. They took her favorite toy, which was a plush kitty with white fur and pink spots. They were teasing her and playing keep away. After trying to get it from them, she dropped to her knees and cried. Then, there came a voice from behind them.

"Leave her alone, jerks." A boy with dark hair, brown eyes and a look to him like he demands authority. She was surprised.

"Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it?" said one of the bullies.

"This!" The boy ran toward them. The bullies tried to grab him but he slid right between the legs of one of them and pulled his shirt down. The bully fell hard on his back. The other two came running after him and the boy ran toward the playground. He jumped on the swing and began swinging. He jumped and bounced off one of the bullies heads, knocking him to the ground. The boy then ran to the slide and the last kid followed. The boy ran up the slide the kid tried to follow but the boy slid right back down and knock him down. The kids got up and try to get the boy, but he ducked out of the way and the collided into each other. The kids got up and saw the boy invoking them, but they didn't want to mess with him anymore. So they dropped the plush cat and ran off. They boy brought the plush cat back to Haruka. She was drying her tears when the boy handed her the toy.

"Thank you," she said.

"Not at all." He replied.

"I'm Haruka."

"I'm Satoshi."

Since then the two have become best friends. They played and talked all day, getting to know each other every day. When someone would try to hurt them or take from them, Satoshi always stood up for them. He fought back protecting his friend. Haruka called him her hero. They were happy as can be. Then one day, Satoshi moved away. Haruka had lost her hero.

Eight years later, Haruka just woke up and was getting ready for school. She had blossom to a beautiful young girl. Her eyes were blue, her hair was a very tan brown, and she was flawless, but she knew her beauty would bring some unwanted attention, so she was always worried. She would wait for her friends to knock on her door to go to school together. She felt she had to walk with a group to prevent being assaulted or worst. She was afraid of being alone.

Haruka walked into the kitchen where her mother had just made breakfast. Her dad got into his suit drinking his coffee.

"Good morning." She said to her folks.

"Good morning, sweetie, did you sleep well?" Her father asked.

She sighed as she replied, "No, I had this nightmare about me getting assaulted by some thugs. It wouldn't stop."

"Don't worry dear, It's just a dream," her father reassured her, "besides, you have your father whose a detective of the police. Nothing will harm you."

"Your right dad." she said with a half smile. Just then, there was a knock at the door.

"That's my friends," she grabbed her school bag and a piece of toast. She kissed her mother and father on the cheeks. "Bye Mom, Bye Dad." She opened the door, eating her toast met with her 3 friends who were waiting for her.

"Hey Haruka!" Said one of the girls.

"Hey Cindy!" She said with a piece of toast in her mouth. She turned to her other friends, "Hey Tina, Sasha!"

"Good Morning!" Said both of the girls.

She walked the streets with her friends and they talk and talk of nothing and everything. They knew the route by heart traveling together, but something different happened that day. There was a delay in one of the trains students took to the station closest to the school.

"Oh man, we are going to be late!" exclaimed Tina. "Where's the damn train?"

"Don't know, but if don't make it in on time, it's ten laps around the school." Replied Haruka. The girl sat quietly and waited. After forty minutes of waiting a train pulled up. The girls got on not knowing where the train was going. At this point, they were relieved to see a train. The girls talked not hearing the P.A. announcer naming the stops. For them they knew they had to get off on the fourth stop.

When the train made it's forth stop, the girls got off and walked into the the direction to what they thought was their school. The girls saw buildings they never saw before and signs they were unfamiliar with. They approached a tall, white school building which was very odd.

"What is this place?" asked Haruka.

"A school." Cindy said in a sarcastic voice.

"I know, but shouldn't there be people around." replied Haruka

"This is our school right?" Said Sasha.

"No, it can't be, the building looks different." Said Haruka.

"Let's find out where we are." Said Cindy. The girls looked around from the street signs and saw they were at the wrong street.

"WE'RE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN!" Yelled Haruka.

"EEP! WE TOOK THE WRONG TRAIN" The other girls yelled.

"Quick, let's get back to the train station." The girls ran back the way they came.
The girls found the train that lead to their school., but because they were late, they had to do ten laps around the school. The whole time they ran Haruka thought of that school. Why was it empty? Where are the teachers and students? What was the name of the school? She tried to look up the school, but turns up empty. It is like the school doesn't exist. Haruka was curious, why is there no school that anyone heard of or seen before? It vexed her during the rest of class that day.

Meanwhile elsewhere, a boy has just woken up. It was five until 10 o'clock. He got up and got ready for school. With a yawn, he walked out of his apartment to get to school. He walked the whole way. It was the Arthurian Academy, his school and second home. He came upon the gates when a voice called out.

"Yo Satoshi!"

He looked back to see his friend.

"Tyler. What's up?"

Tyler came running up to meet him.

"Dude, I just got me a new move, check it out."

"Wait! Not out here, when we get inside."

"Alright."

The two came to the gates, flashed their passes and went inside. Soon more students and teachers came to the building. It seems like a normal school day for Satoshi, but in him there was an emptiness. The headmaster Daisuke saw that Satoshi seemed sad. He called him to his office at the end of the day. The time was 1:30 and Satoshi entered the office.

"Sato, what's wrong?"

"I wish you didn't call me that, it's Satoshi."

"That's not what's this is about. You seemed glum. Are the assignments too much?"

"No, not at all, I just have one of those days of melancholy. Nothing at all."

"Well take the night off tonight; I give your teachers an excuse from school work tomorrow."

"No, don't do that, I know you're my legal guardian and all, but as my headmaster, you should at least let me do the work."

"Alright, but enjoy you night afterwards, go to a movie, or to the arcades, something. Get out of your glum."

"Alright," he said getting up, "I'll do that." He opened the door.

"Oh by the way, get something to eat, I'm not cooking today."
Satoshi turned with a grin, "Since when do you ever cook?" He turned and left.
When Satoshi got home, he did his homework, showered, changed, and went out. He took the subway to town.

It was 4:30, Haruka was getting out of her last class and was about to go home. She wondered more about the school while she waited for friends. It turns out they already left. She began to worry of the danger that lay in the streets. After waiting for fifteen minutes, she tried to call her dad, but her battery died on her phone. With a gulp and a sigh, she grabbed her precious plush cat from her childhood and walked by herself going home.

Haruka passed by the arcade center, where Satoshi, still in meloncholy, played games to try to cheer him up to no avail. She walked passed when a street punk came out of nowhere.

"Hey girlie, wanna have fun?"

She tried to turn when two other punks came from behind. They grabbed her and took her in to the alley way. Satoshi came out of the arcade and was about to go home when he heard screaming. He ran toward the alley way to see the girl being messed with.

"Scream all you want, it excites me more." Said the punk.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" Satoshi yelled.

The punks and the girl saw him.

"Hehehe…Let her go, huh? And if we don't?"

Satoshi was ready to fight. Haruka watched in fear as the boy was trying to save her. Two of the punks came running at him with chains and knives. He avoided them and took out two of them with a knee and a roundhouse kick. The one holding the girl pulled out his dagger and had it at the girl's throat.

"Stand back or she gets it!"

The boy grabbed a rock and threw it at full force knocking the punk out. The other two recovered, pick up their comrade, and left. The boy saw the girl and approached her.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah." She replied. "Thank You."

They punk threw her stuff to the ground, so they were picking it up. Then the boy saw a small plush cat with white fur and pink spot, it was worn down a bit, and it had one eye. The boy recognized the toy.

"Where did you get that?" he asked about the toy.

"I had it since I was seven, it's a reminder that there are still some good people out there. A boy saved it for me from some bullies."

Satoshi remembered. "Haruka?"

The girl was shock he knew her name. "How did you know my name?"

"It's me, Satoshi."'

"Satoshi?" Her eyes beamed and in excitement, she jumped and hugged Satoshi. "I missed you, my hero."

They sat on a bench in the park. They sat talking for awhile.

"It's really great to see you again." Haruka said. "I missed you and I having fun together!"

"Ditto." Replied Satoshi.

"So are you visiting?"

"Kinda, I live in the outskirts of town. Different neighborhood."

"I see. Do you go to school near here?"

"I go to the Arthurian Academy."

When he said that, Haruka was curious. "Where's that?"

"I can't say, it's a really private school, they don't just let anyone in."

"Do you have to have a certaain grade or something?"

"Not really, it's hard to explain. Let's say the students are an exceptional group"

"Oh," Haruka said not satisfied with the answer. Satoshi looked at his watch.

"Whoa!" Satoshi said looking at his watch, "7 o' clock, I gotta get home."

"Yeah, I'd better get home too." Haruka said in a sad demeanor.

"What wrong?"

"We just seen each other after eight long years and I feel that were never going to see each other again."

"That not true, we'll still see each other, you can give me your…"

Before he could finish his sentence, he saw her just sitting there crying.

"It's okay," Satoshi said. "We can meet again."

"I'm afraid."

"Of what?"

"Of never seeing you. After eight years you reappear and now you're leaving again. You always protected me, and yet I feel so defenseless. I can't stand the sight of
you leaving."

"I won't be gone for long, I can meet you again. I promise."

"Satoshi, you've been my hero, when you left me, I was alone. I don't ever want to be this way again. I'm scared for my life if your not around. Please don't leave me again." She began to cry.

Satoshi sat there, thinking. Then a though came to his head, "should I, no that would violate the rules and if the head master found out." He looked at her again. "Okay I'll do it." He stood up and went in front of Haruka.

"Okay, I'll make you a promise." Satoshi said. Haruka stop crying and looked up. "There's this contract I can make, but the way it work is simple. Agree, and I will be there."

"Really?"

"I promise to protect and serve as long as you need me, okay? I can make the agreement through handshake or if you trust me well enough, give me something valuable to you." He held out his hand.

Haruka looked at him puzzled, but she knew he would keep his promise. She smiled as she went in to her bag and pull out the plush cat.

"Take this, but only if you promise to always be there for me. Never leave me again."

"I promise."

She smiled as she handed him the toy. Without her knowing a symbol appear on her right hand.

"The contract is done." He put the toy in his pocket. "Do you want me to walk you home?"

"Yeah."

They walked to her door where Satoshi turned and said, "Okay, I'll see you later."

"When?"

"Tomorrow after your last class. I will walk you home then too."

"Okay." She went inside.

Satoshi walked from her apartment back to his. He looked at his right hand and sighed. The same mark was on his hand. "I hope that the head master don't ever find out." He put his hand in his pocket and walked on. He got home and Daisuke was doing paper work not paying attention.

"How was your night?" Daisuke asked.

Before he went in his room, he said, "It was nice." He closed the door and Daisuke smiled as he returned to his work.

Haruka couldn't get any sleep that night. She was excited that her childhood friend Satoshi was going to meet her after she gets out of school. She thought of everything they could talk about, what they like, and even…

"Will we be a couple? Like in those animes about someone coming back and wanting to embrace their love for each other or something."

Haruka just dreamed her dreams and wondered what tomorrow was going to be like. Meanwhile, Satoshi was lying down looking at the mark on his hand. It worried him throughout most of the night. “What am I going to do tomorrow?” He eventually nodded off to sleep.

The next morning, Haruka got up and went to take her shower and get ready for school, when she saw the mark.

"What is this?" she looked at the symbol curiously. She tried to wash it off but it didn't work. She got frustrated and just grabbed some base make-up and covered it up. She joined her parents for breakfast. Her mother was just plating the eggs and toast whilst the father was putting on his tie.

"Hey dad, why are you getting so fancy?"

"Well, I have to go to court today. One of the people I caught is going to court and I'm going to testify."

"But aren't you a detective? Why do they need you to testify?"

"I caught the guy, so I have to show the jurors that he is the perp. They need me to represent the police and the investigation. It's my job after all."

"Oh…" They finished their breakfast and got up.

"I got to get going, I see you both later." Then there was a knock at the door.

"That must be my friends," Haruka said. "I'm going too. Bye Mom, Bye Dad."

"Be careful," her mom said. She met with her friends who were waiting outside.

"Hey Haruka," Haruka's friend Cindy greeted. "Sorry we left early, but Jamie wanted to show us her new car."

"Spending daddy's money no less," Haruka sarcastically remarked. "Its fine, not like anything happened yesterday, except almost getting attacked."

"What?!" he friends screamed in fear. "What happened? Are you alright? Was it scary?"

"Yes," she replied walking to school. "Lucky I was alright. These goons came out of nowhere and try to get me, but then…"

"Then what?" said Tina listening to the story.

"Remember, how I told you about that boy from a long time ago?"

"Yeah." the girls remembered.

"Well he came to my rescue, I didn't recognize him at first but he saw my plush and called me by my name. I knew it was him."

"Wow. That's amazing." Said Cindy

"Yeah, we caught up and chatted all into the evening, and then he walked me home."

"Awww, that's so romantic." Tina sighed. "Are you going to introduce him to us?"

"Maybe, you can see him after school today, he promised to walk me home again."

"Cool." Her friends replied. She didn't tell them about the deal he made with her or the markings on her hands. She figured these are best kept secret. The girls made it to the school and went to class discussing the whole ordeal.

Satoshi was walking to his class around 10:00 hiding his hand in his pocket hoping not to get caught. Then a familiar voice yelled out.

"Hey Satoshi." Tyler came from behind. "What's up, man?"

"Nothing," Satoshi tried to play it cool.

"Cool. Say, why don't you show me that right jab combo of yours."

"Uhh... no. I…uhh…" He tried to think of an excuse to use. "I hurt my hand from yesterday's practice."

"Bull…we didn't have practice yesterday. Come on!"

"Not out here."

"It's okay, no one is around. They won't know."

"No!"

"Come on, why not?"

"Trust me you don't want to know."

"Come on, it's not like…" he paused for a moment when he realized. "You didn't…?!"
Satoshi raised his hand showed the marking. "Dude! What were you thinking?! This violates everything! You could be in major trouble for this. You live with the headmaster for God sakes. Did you think this through?"

"Yes, but I had no choice but to do it."

"No choice? You could have just ignored the problem and just left. How could you have no choice?"

"She was crying!"

"She?! Oh what a surprise! You fell for her blue eyes. You totally screwed right now, you know that?"

"Listen! She was my friend from a long time ago. She was afraid not to see me again and I wanted to show her I would be back."

"Dude, this violates the contract. Not only have you made one, but you made one at a juvenile age."

"There's a loop-hole. You know that. We learned it together."

"I don't know what to say."

"Say nothing, we keep this between ourselves."

"Why?"

"Because, I kept your contract secret."

Tyler paused for a moment, "Okay, fine. I promise not to tell." He said reluctantly. He pulled a small make-up case out of his book bag. "Here, this base should cover-up your mark."

"Thanks man."

"This conversation never happened." Satoshi nodded in agreement. They flashed their passes and made their way to class.

For Satoshi and Haruka, it was just another day of school. However, out at the court, the trial Haruka father attended was coming to the Verdict.

"Has the jury reached a verdict?"

"We have your honor." Said the Juror. "We find the defendant, Hideki Kamina, Guilty."

"Then the court sentence Mr. Kamina to life imprisonment." The judge banged his gavel releasing the courtroom. Haruka's father stood proud of his accomplishment. However, a man in a trench coat looked at him with great resentment. He stormed out of the courtroom and outside where there was a car waiting for him. He got in and drove off.

"Your late." Said the man in a scowl.

"I don't like courtrooms," said a big, hulking man in a deep voice. "Besides if they saw us making a deal, they probably arrest us."

"Who cares, anyways, my brother is in jail and I want to teach the cop who put him away a lesson."

"How, Mr. Kamina?"

"We kidnap his daughter for my brother's release."

"His daughter?"

Mr. Kamina pulled out a picture of Haruka and showed it to the man. "This is the target."
"I see, so you want me to kidnap her."

"Yes, when she gets out of school, we will grab her, hold her ransom, and then kill her."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, he will learn his lesson for messing with the Kamina Brothers. Are we in an agreement?"

"So let's review, you want to kidnap her, hold her ransom until her father releases your brother, then kill her to teach the cop a lesson? Are you sure you don't need anything else?"

"Just your commitment to keeping her in your control until the job is done."

"Nothing else?"

"Nothing else. Do we have a deal Tiny Tim?" He raised his hand out.

"Yeah." He shook his hand and the strange marking that was on Haruka and Satoshi were on their hands. "The contract is done."

"Excellent!" he said with an evil grin. Their plan was set, soon will be time for action.

The whole day the two thought about the time they meet, but are unaware of what's going to happen. The bell rang for Satoshi and began to leave the room.

"Hey dude, wanna hang out?" said Tyler.

"Sorry, I made a promise. I'll see you later." Satoshi left the school and made his way to the train station. He figured he would meet her as she gets out. The bell rang for Haruka, she gather her things as a lot of girls began to gather around.

"So can we see him?" said one of the girls. "The boy your dating, Cindy told us about it."

"We're not dating, he's an old friend, and he's walking me home."

"Yeah sure," said one of the girls. They made their way out of the classroom, following Haruka.

The car where Mr. Kamina and Tiny Tim sat waited patiently for Haruka to come out. Satoshi has just made his way to the block where Haruka's school was. Haruka just came out of the gates and Satoshi spotted her, unfortunately, so did Mr. Kamina.

"Let's do it." Satoshi was about to wave to Haruka when a strange tingling went down his spine. He saw the car pull up fast. Haruka approached the street when the car stopped in front of her. Tiny Tim came out and grabbed her arm.

"Come on girlie."

"Hey! Let go! Help!" he dragged her in and the car drove off. Her friends and Satoshi were in fear and surprise. Then he dropped his bag and followed in the direction of the car. The car made a sharp turn, getting out of his sight, then he figured he can catch up if he cuts them off. He ran the alley to try and catch up. Haruka is struggling and screaming trying to get out.

"Shut her up, Tim."

"Hey I don't see you stopping her."

"Just you wait, my dad's a cop."

"I know, I'm holding you ransom to release my brother."

"What?"

"Your father convicted my brother today and I want vengeance."

"You won't get away with this."

"I'm already am." He turns to Tim. "Get the phone." Unaware, Satoshi catches up and stands in front of the car. "What the...?" He hits the brakes but skidded right to him. Satoshi raised his foot and stepped on the car as it came creating a huge dent. Everyone in the car was alright but was amazed at what they saw. Satoshi ran to the door and grabbed Haruka.

"Come on." Mr. Kamina saw it and yell at Tiny Tim.

"Don't stand there like an idiot, get him!" Tim got out of the car and gave chase, Mr. Kamina followed.

Satoshi holding Haruka's hand ran to find a place to hide.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Yeah, but what happened?"

"Can't talk now, just keeping running." Tiny Tim caught up and grabbed Haruka's leg.

"Oh no you don't." Satoshi yelled as he stepped on his head. Tiny Tim let go. Satoshi turned to Haruka, "Go, hide." Haruka ran behind a nearby dumpster. Tiny Tim and Satoshi began to fight. Tim kept jabbing while Satoshi dodged. Satoshi often countered with kicks and punches but also missed.

"That was pretty impressive with the car back there."

"Thanks learned it in school, just like you."

"Huh? Are you a Hero?"

"Yes, yes I am."

"That explains everything, but your young, you can't make a contract at your age."

"Believe me, I found a way."

"So the girl..."

"Yep, she's my contractor."

"Well, let's break you contract then."

"Just try it." They continued to fight as Haruka watched. Mr. Kamina caught up to them.

"What are doing get the girl. Where is she?"

"I don't know the kid here knows."

"Damn it you lame brain." he pulled out a gun and aimed at Satoshi. He saw him out of the corner of his eye, then a thought came up. Maybe... He landed a punch in Tiny Tim's gut and ran toward Kamina. Before he shot Satoshi grabbed his hand and twisted his arm behind his back.

"Listen to me, call off you contract and I'll let you live."

"What you got to be kidding me?"

"Call it off or muscles over there is going to kill you." Tiny Tim was picking himself up.

"Yeah right, he won't be that stupid." Tiny Tim came rushing at both of them and threw punches. Satoshi still holding Kamina dodged every one. "You idiot stop that."

"He's not going to stop, just as I figured, you didn't ask for protection, now he's going to kill us both, unless you call off the contract."

"What?"

"When making a contract your asking for specific jobs, you forgot to ask for protection, does he's following your rules of your agreement and is not going to let up."

"That's it!" Tiny Tim jumped back and began stretching his arms. He began to charge pulling his arm back.

"This punch could kill us both unless you call off the contract." Mr. Kamina saw him coming. He hesitated for a bit. Tiny Tim got closer.

"Alright, I want to break the contract!" Satoshi let him go and then there was a flash. Tiny Tim slowed down and stopped. Mr. Kamina fell to his knees and hands. Tiny Tim looked around and Came to Satoshi.

"Hey what happened? Where am I?"

"Call the police their was an accident."

"Okay." He ran off to find a phone. Mr. Kamina is confused and weak. Haruka came out from the dumpster. Satoshi approached Haruka.

"Are you alright?" Haruka slapped him. "I deserve that."

"Yes you did, what the hell happened?"

"Not here, come with me." they went into an alley. "What you saw was part of the contract."

"Contract?"

"The Hero's contract. When someone like myself, a Hero, and some like yourself, the contractor, make an agreement. We create this special contract."

"Your not making any sense."

"Okay, maybe a visual. Give me your hand." She raised her hand. "Sorry the one with the marking on it." She raised her other hand. He grabbed her hand and slid across her palm. A rolled up paper came out. Satoshi grabbed it. Haruka saw and was surprised.

"This is the contract. This has all the rules and the descriptions to what just happened. Read it and understand it. It's the promise I made last night." Haruka confused took the contract. "You know how I said my school was really private. Well at the school, not only do I get an education, but I also learn to become a Hero, a person meant to serve and protect. What you saw was two heroes fulfilling their contracts. Believe me I was only protecting you okay. Read the contract and you get a better understanding. When your done with it, push it back into your hand." Sirens wailed in the distance. "Come on." The two walked out of the alley to meet the police. They were transported to Haruka's father.

"Honey, are you alright? I was so worried." he embraced his daughter

"I'm fine, thanks to Satoshi."

"Thank you, young man."

"No problem sir I'll see you later, Haruka."

"Bye."

That night she look at the contract and studied the rules. "Satoshi made a 'True Hero Contract.' Hmmm..." She finished reading took the contract, put it in her hands and brought them together to make the contract disappear. She then turned off her lights and went to bed.

The next day, she got up, got ready, had breakfast, and as she left the door, Satoshi was waiting.

"Hi, how are you feeling?"

"Better, thanks."

"Good, I'll walk you to school."

"Don't you have to school?"

"Not until 10:00"

"Lucky." she said giggling.

The two walked until they were out of sight of the apartments.

"So what did you think about the contract?"

"Why didn't you tell me all this before?"

"I really didn't think you going to get into serious trouble. The contract itself was designed to be a bodyguard agreement in a way. I wanted it to be my promise."

"Why put yourself through it?"

"It's the risk I'm willing to take. I chose to do so." He came in front of Haruka and pulled out the plush Haruka gave him. "If you want to call it off, here's your toy back, but know I didn't do it just to protect you, I did it to show you I'll be there, my promise to you. I really care a lot about you." She looked at the toy and him for a minute and smiled.

"I care a lot about you too. I can't let you hurt yourself, but I always liked that you kept your promises." She pushed the toy back to him. "Keep it. I'll keep the contract a secret."

The two resumed to walk to her school. "By the way, the contract said that you have to be at a mature age to make a contract, how did you make one with me?"

"Like all contracts there's a loop-hole."
