The screams of a dying heart

The midnight flame burns bright,
Left alone in my own fight,
A mental catastrophe is killing my sanity,
I see no significance in my life's continuity,
Betrayal, abandonment is all i see around me,
Seeking protection in people's sympathy,
Am a runner of the truth, simply a refugee,
A dead heart insidy a breathing body,
Killed by the harshness of reality,
Discriminated by the system,
Accused as the suspect though I'm the victim,
It's not a tragedy nor a sad story,
Just a little sprinkle of chaos and probability,
Stick and stones may break my bones,
But words put me in those terminal zones,
My words won't work so don't let me start,
The sound of shattering won't be heard from a broken heart,
Sanity won't be affected by the twist of fate,
It's just there's those who always turn from love to hate.

Just hold on,
Everytime it got ripped or torn,
The pain of this beating chest,
It keeps all the feelings compressed,
Though the heart is screaming its final breath,
Though am a second closer to death,
It'll keep away all that fury,
Or it'll soon kill its own sanity,
There's a reason why it's mad,
It keeps repeating the memories we had,
Found out a little time won't cure,
The hearts already tainted, it's impure,
It seeks the reason and find the cause,
Love and attention are all it draws,
I wonder will it ever learn,
That some people will never turn,
She's in my dream while another is in hers,
The sadness has been that way for years,
Just so it could be a little bit closer,
Closer to that certain unreachable flower,
Will the heart wait while the body decays?, Or someday it'll soon change its ways?,

Though I'm the victim,
I'm still binded to the system,
It's not excessive love, it's infatuation,
Why would the heart beat so fast,
For something, for someone,
I thought it wouldn't last,
The significance of my existence,
Was tarnished simply by your presence,
Your beauty glows so profoundly,
As it caught the attention and time of many,
But most importantly, me.
I'm a sad romance embedded into a love comedy,
Where I'm the joke and you're the melody,
The core of the story,
My trials were once a path towards positivity,
I'd pull out the sword,
And I'll face the horde,
I'll slay the dragon,
Pull you out of the dungeon,
I'll be your prince in shining armor,
Your benevolent protector,
Keep you from harms way till the end,
Against the evil i shall defend,
Turns out I'm just the joker while you're the queen,
Haha!
