Frigia
The region of Frigia varies from high mountain peaks to lush forests of coniferous pines, glaciers to warm coasts. It has four main cities and many smaller towns and villages but no unified government.
Auris
Formed by hunter tribes for mutual benefit during a long string of bad winters. The chieftains of the tribes formed an elder council to lead the people of Auris. Most buildings are made from wood due to stone being a luxury. The primary trade comes from their furs and superior wood crafting, traded mainly with Planais for crops as it is too cold to grow them here. The surrounding forest is rife with bandits preying on unwary travellers. The people of Auris are generally paler than the rest of Frigia and red eyes are not uncommon among them. There are many smaller towns and villages around the lands of Auris.
Paraxis
The foundations of the mighty port city of Paraxis are built upon an ancient city spanning the entire island, historical records show that while the current city has been around for thousands of years the ancient city was already there far before. Paraxis is renowned for its navy, always seeking to eradicate piracy throughout the Eixani Sea. The city is controlled by the Officio Mercantilla and its Administratum Mercantilla, while the navy is commanded by the Lord Admiral, appointed by the other naval commanders and the Officio Mercantilla. There are small outposts across the island providing lighthouses and many other places for ships to dock.
Planais
The city of Planais lies upon the Barr river flowing through the wind swept plains of central Frigia surrounded by many farms administrated by the Farmers Guild. King Turodas rules from his fortress in the centre of the city, for more than half a millennium he has guided the city and although he appears human, nobody knows what he truly is. Planais is surrounded by a magnificent stone wall, protecting the city within while leaving the farms undefended. Membership to the Guild is required for the city guard to protect the farms outside of the city, allowing them to keep their monopoly over farming.
Sathis
Set into the great Barix Canyon, the city of Sathis is protected by the high walls of the canyon and by huge stone walls built along both sides of the canyon. Huge gates open to allow large amounts of trade to pass along the Barr river, both north into Frigia and south into Barenixia, after a toll of course. The city is home to master craftsman of glass and stone with many beautiful stone carvings on display throughout the city. Many mansions are home to the large amount of wealthy merchants that choose to make their home here, the ruler of the city is chosen from among them. The current Merchant Baron is Erica de Grae who bought her way to the top.
Graell Mountains
There have been various rumours of witches in the mountains, mainly from miners working there and traumatised bandits.
