Have you guys ever read the poem, Mrs. Caldera? It's an interesting poem indeed. Well in the poem, the last two lines read:
"Stay awhile," Mrs. Caldera says,
and never have you felt so valuable.
In 10 minutes, I came up with a different poem that I connected to the word "valuable" in "Mrs. Caldera". I even came up with a type of format. (If it's already been made, the format, then I apologize for making it seem like I made it, although I really did make the format up myself)
You are a glass cup.
Nothing fancy or plain.
You're somewhere in between.
And as others before you, you're never the same.
You feel no pain.
You are a glass cup.
That is easily seen through.
You're not very mysterious.
Nothing like the alluring water in a tide or pool.
You are not sure of what to do.
You are a glass cup.
One that has never been full.
You're happy when you are used.
Yet you're not a happy-go-lucky fool.
Still you want to hold onto the happiness, and towards you, pull.
May I request that you guys put up poems in response to mine, with my format?
Here it is:
-First line remains the same in each stanza
-Second and last lines rhyme
-The third line Starts with the same word in each stanza
-Fourth line sounds similar, but does not rhyme, with the second line
