Raven still stood in the tree. Cops were everywhere now, and one was directly below her. She was extremely hungry, and dawn would be approaching soon. Time to eat.
" Officer! Please help me! I'm stuck in this tree, and I can't get down. I'm scared of heights." The officer came over and climbed up the tree stood there beside her. He extended his hand to help her, and when she gave him her hand he grabbed her and pulled him to her. He was one of the Lykins! She was so drained she didn't even notice.
The Lykins smirked. " They'll pay a high ransom for you Miss Raven, Next in line Elder, Leader of the Symphony de Vampire Coven." He hit her over the temple and knocked her out. The black wrist watch looking thing fell to the ground.
The Next Night:
Raven awoke in the middle of a room chained in mid air. There were about 20 or 30 Lykins below her. All of them had hunger in their eyes. She was in trouble...like never before. And no one was here to save her. She knew that the other Elders would pay the ransom or just come after her themselves. In which case her whole race was fucked. There had to be a way to get out of here.
Soon, the main Lykin leader, Jansen, walked to just in front of her. He smirked and said, " Let her down. She's got plans with me tonight." Raven didn't know what that meant, but knew it couldn't be good. On of the Lykins slowly let her down, and another undid her shackles. Jansen walked up closer to her, and brushed his lips across her own. "Where is the one called Lance?" he said to her in her ear. At this point she didn't even know.

Lance had spent nearly the entire day experimenting with the serum. He had only used about a tea-spoon of the chemicals, leaving only half a veil remaining. Lance didn’t like the results of his experiment. He had plenty of subjects working the early morning shifts through to the afternoon, so why weren’t any of these humans giving him some kind of result? He tried just about every human he could get his hands on. He conducted his experiments in the library’s loading bay, where the sunlight couldn’t reach him. He couldn’t help but to shake the feeling that the serum wasn’t engineered for humans, maybe it was engineered for Lykens. Like hell did he care? Lance didn’t really need to know about any war that conspired between the vampires. So what if the vampires resort to chemical warfare in they’re twisted skirmish. As long as it doesn’t effect the humans.
He spent the afternoon thinking about Raven. He had her, he actually had her, in his arms with no one to protest, of her own will. She had wanted him. Lance smile, wearing a custodian’s uniform to blend in, busying himself with work. He wore his wings like a black and white T-shirt and his tail wrapped around himself like a belt, standing in the broom closet. He recalled how soft she felt in his arms, the innocent warmness in her eyes as she looked at him with such lust and wanting. He had definitely given her the same look. He finally had the chance to hold her, had the chance to taste her. But that f*ck head had come and f*ck it up! He got mad all over again. “That basterd…”
“Who?” It was Cocoa, resting in the arms of James!? Lance couldn’t believe that this nutter was here. James is Lady Rokyo’s butler, a crazy old man who is slightly lighter than Lance, about a foot taller and sported grey shoulder length hair. This person usually has nothing else better to do with his time but to attack him and those he felt were as strong as he is. He never gave a reason for this, he warned his targets before trying to kill them. Anyone he faced and seemed to be lacking in power were killed. Cocoa and Chester were his two favorite opponents, and the last thing Lance needed on his mind was Chester.
“The hell do you want?” Lance asked, giving absolutely no respect to the man. Anyone who attacked people for no reason didn’t deserve the courtesy.
“I was ordered to assist you,” James replied, his British accent light, but noticeable.
“Oh, really? Well there is a toilet in the men’s room on the third floor-“
“Your girlfriend, sir…”
“What girlfriend?”
“Oh I don’t know. Black long hair, crimson eyes, the next head of north western Legions, leader of the Symphony de Vampire Covenant.”
Lance gave Cocoa a hard stare. “What? Our courses are well informed.”
“I see… What about her?”
“Nothing of any importance,” James answered nonchalantly. “Just her being kidnapped and rapped while being held ransom.”
Lance’s jaw dropped. He wasn’t sure if James was jesting with him. “What? Say that again?”
“Your girlfriend is being gangbanged right now, and you cant do anything about it for the next five to six hours.” James said this with a smile on his face. Lance couldn’t believe what he was telling him. How could she have been kidnapped? He had left Cocoa with her-
“Where were you when she was taken?” Lance pointed as he directed his question to Cocoa, fury present in both his face and his expression.
Cocoa was as unphased as James. “On her wrist, of course.” He sounded as though that minor detail were irrelevant.
“And you wanna tell me how she was taken?”
“Well, the liken came up the tree and took her, but she called him up though, so I didn’t see any real problem with it.”
“And why the f*ck not?”
“Again, she called to him to get her.”
“And you didn’t think for a moment that she might have been a tad bit delirious about the nights events?!”
“Why should I have? I picked him out of a crowd of like forty FBI agents. What makes you think she hadn’t known the agent was a liken?”
Lance was straining not to explode on the both of them. The both appeared to be bored of the topic. He especially wanted to hit Cocoa now.
“You meet one girl and you let her deceive you like that, boy you’re pathetic,” James was saying with a thoughtful look about his face. “I bet she’s giving Jansen quite a ride, too” Lance looked as if he’d been spat on. “She does look like the sort who hasn’t been busted yet, kinda wish I’d been the one to break her first.” He added a wide grin to the fantasy. James caught Lance’s first. He had a twisted smile while taunting him. “If you’re gonna PMS about it I can get you some tampons.”
There was no possible way for James to block the next blow. Lance cent him careening into a vending machine. Cocoa was on the floor, sitting patiently. “I just know you don’t plan on taking us on and the lykins? Right?”
“Try me again and I’ll kill the both of you.”
James rose from the shattered vending machine. He stood brushing glass and metal shards from his skin, a wide grin fixed to his face. “Now there’s no need to get all bitchy about that hoer girlfriend of yours (he caught Lance’s fists again), you should have known it was too easy from the start.” Lance gave him a confused look. “Don’t act like there was magic in the air when you two first met. She’s has been baiting you from the start.”
“Like hell would you know?” Lance barked.
“Easy easy. You gotta think about it. How’d she know there lykens about at the meeting? How was Boman able to find the two of you so easily. And how did he get a hold of the serum?”
Lance was shocked at this. How did Boman get a hold of the serum? Lance twirled the possibility of Raven being part of the Fido Project. The Fido project is a chemical warfare development program created by most of the Vampire leaders in the world, eight of them being of the north western covenant. The chemical developed was unknown to countering factions such as those of Lance’s organizations. There’s no way she could be apart of that! He thought angrily.
“Ahh, is it all coming to light now?”
“Why don’t you tell me something useful, like where the hell is she?”
James only smiled. “Come I’ll show you…”
- That Night –
They were in an old complex, an inactive prison no longer used by the government for its poor foundation. The three of them walked together. Lance, who mad as hell, James, seriously bored, and Cocoa, who trotted happily between the two. There were lykens all over the place, growling and howling as they entered. Lance had his scythe in hand, daring anyone, even those who accompanied him, to challenge him. The moon wasn’t present, and even with his fury growing with every step, he was amazed at how many lykens were powerful enough to transform at will.
A woman stood naked at the guest entrance. She had slashes going about all her person, no doupt she fought every man who challenged her. “So you must be Lance. I thought I’d recognize your sent from Boman’s flesh.”
“What’s it to you!?” Lance barked. No one was up for bullshit. Even James and Cocoa had reframed from their jesting. Lance was deranged at his current state.
The woman matched his attitude. “Who da f*uck is you?” She was baring fangs and her eyes dilated.
James had to restrain Lance from killing her. Cocoa looked quite entertained, he would of course with him being the most powerful of the three.
“Bekka! Heel!” Boman had come to the door and now both James and Cocoa had to grasp him. Boman eyed Lance with a cold stare. Lance was struggling to get free. He was going to tear the giant limb from limb.
“Quit being foolish,” James demanded, trying to suppress Lance’s intake of air.
“Hold him a second,” Cocoa said. He stood directly in front of them, his eyes rolling into the back of his head, mouth opening and shooting out long black strands of who knew what. The strands began to consume Lance, attaching itself into Lance’s skin and muscles. As it did so, Cocoa himself began to deteriorate. When this action was complete, Cocoa had gained total control over Lance’s body, everything except his wings, tail, mind, and thoughts. Lance’s appearance had completely changed. Lance’s skin was now a near black metallic grey, and the outer rim of Lance’s iris’s displayed a thickness of yellow. “I can keep you from being stupid while we’re here.”
Boman look quite surprised at this, but remained silent. He walked back inside while James, Cocoa, and Lance followed suite. Boman had led them to a large cafeteria three floors underground. The only seating, a thrown, was positioned at the far end of the room. Lykens lined every inch of the grounds, wall, and even hanging from the ceiling. They were all howling like the beast they were. Jansen raised a hand and the room instantly became quiet. Cocoa released Lance from his captivity. “Ah, Lance, we finally meet.” He said, a very wicked smile tickling his face.
“Who the f*uck are you?!” Lance barked. The room broke out into a competion of howls and snarls, all of which were directed to the three of them.
Jansen put a hand up again and the room fell silent.
“Obedient little bastards, aren’t they?” Cocoa boasted, looking quite dull.
Jansen egnored the little rodent’s comment. “It’s nice to finally meet the Mercenary of darkness.” Lance was about to speak, but James stopped him. “I can tell you are a very busy man, hunting those of your blood and all, so I’ll get right to the point. I have something you want, and have a service I need.”
“How about I f*ucking peal your face off and shoot the rest of these f*ucking muts!”
Jansen looked unphased as the room once again broke into a frenzy of noise. The room fell silent as he spoke. “If so, then I guess I have had enough fun with the bitch, so I’ll have her-“
“NO!” Lance ld so frightened and shocked at the verbal gesture that neither Cocoa nor James knew what to make of it. “No… Just tell me what you need.”
Jansen was all smiles now. “There is a chemical plant in the bluegrass state of Kentucky. Destroy it, and you will have your pretty little hooker again.”
Just hearing her being insulted in such a way pissed him off to a new level. Though, he kept his scared and frightened expression. Jansen was buying into it. Lance had no intentions of leaving here without her, and this man, this… creature, will not live long enough to his brethren die before him. Lance though for a moment on a quick plan that had a good chance of working. “Can I see her?”
Jansen smiled once again. He figured why not motivate this pathetic slayer of bats which they fear so much. It was quite sad to see this oh-so feared negro before him nearly buckling before him. “Fine, you shall see her for only a flash.” He waved a hand Raven was fetched. The site of her crushed him inside and infuriated him beyond his own belief.
But all he needed was that one chance to see her present, dragged before Jansen feet. Cocoa looked up at him, knowing already what he was already thinking.
Lance took his opportunity.
