WAR GAMES

Strong and stiff
Cold and silent
Called by the fire
Slashed by the sword

Together they cry
Forever we sing
Inside angles flap And stager their wings
Choked and gagged
In emptied cells

Strong and silent
Swift and bloody
Together they fight
Forever we hold
Hold fast
Hold strong
Pull tight
Rip hard

Emptied cages filled
Broken wings dangle
Bloody and torn
Ripped and plucked
From backs of war torn soldiers

Cold and lonely
Left for death
Are side and yours

Angles are singing
Demons are calling
Bodies are dropping
Mine and yours
Shoot to kill
Shoot to win
Shoot at them
Shoot at us

Together they die
Forever we are lay dead
Stand alone stand together
Fight fight and take flight
Lift the wings
Saw them together
Take false flight
Are we angles?
Are we devils?
Are we even human?

Together they kill
Forever we kill
My side and yours
Together we fight
Pulled by puppet strings
Government made
Government owned
Government slaves

Together we die
Forever we lay
Blood stained and betrayed
Government who?
Government why?
Reasons for living
Reasons for death
Stolen and dying
Truth unknown
Life undone
