[Winter Contest Entry 2012] New Text Document

Well I dunno 'bout this, but yeah this might be one of my random attempts on writing stuff which belongs to the category of 'Metafiction' for the contest. Feel free to read and give your thoughts upon it =D Spoiler: A Drop of Quark at Fakku Winter, Christmas, and New Years Okay. I don't really know much about Quantum Physics in order to explain the fundamentals of this phenomenon called 'Quark', so please forgive me if I managed to get something totally wrong and biased out of this. So yeah, Quark is a very small particle - we could refer to it with the term 'elementary particle' as it was the foundational element which eventually formed Proton and Neutron. Both Proton and Neutron eventually made the core of an atom; a basic building block of each and every substances within this Universe, from the oxygen we breathe everyday in order to sustain our lives, each and every food we ate everyday - all of them consisted of atoms. And within these atoms, there goes the formation of Quarks which made these building blocks. Yeah I might seem to keep repeating myself but..you will eventually get the idea by some logical deduction that within each and every substance, there is atoms, and within the atoms, there's the Quarks. So we could assume that there's every Quark in all of us. If I might repeat. There is Quark in all of us. Starting out from a drop of Quark, a very small elementary particle, it could built up an entire array of cells which would eventually sustain our lives; the cells on our vital organs - the brain, heart, liver, kidney, stomach, and even our genitals which we used to touch and play with all night until it gives us the ultimate pleasure, each of them were basically made from Quarks. Hey...I'm serious about this, pleasuring the genitalia would brought about a heavenly feeling of ecstasy, it would elevate ourselves towards a higher plane - call it some kind of a temporary esoteric enlightenment, as it feels that your soul had transcended itself, bridging upon the parallel worlds when you finally let out your glorious release. Putting it in laymen terms, this phenomenon is universally known as 'fapping'. The philosophy of bringing upon the ultimate pleasure using your own hands. And without the help of a place known as Fakku, I would never learn about the art of fapping, and forever I would be thinking that this activity were just a method to satiate a some kind of lowly animalistic desire. But through this site, I had finally reached upon a state of enlightenment - fapping is a beautiful art of attaining pleasure, and I'm positive of that. Eroticism wouldn't always be vulgar and obscene as some of us used to think. It could also become so beautiful and astounding. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to think that hentai were one of the ultimate manifestations pertaining our erotic nature. Err...to be honest, I found a site called Doujin Moe first hand, but as I'm too much of a cheapskate to even pay for their premium services just to read the doujins, I eventually came towards the site called Fakku. True story. Trying to relate the Quark thingy with Fakku. I will think of it as a substance which brought about the life of our site's founder, Jacob. Without the force of Quark, I think that Jacob wouldn't be with us from the start, and without him, the site known as Fakku wouldn't even exist. There won't be the Festive moments involving Winter, Christmas, and New Years around this place called Fakku, if it didn't even exist at the first place. It all thanks to the force of Quark that each and every one of us could gather here and celebrate upon this worthwhile moment, that we would finally realize...even a small thing as an elementary particle could serve as a building block which lights off the entire substance throughout the universe. We might sometimes felt like our lives were so small that it didn't matter. But you know, not every person knows the incredible Quark, even after achieving such majestic accomplishments by building the entire world we lived in. Its presence were so small, it's even unnoticeable in the ultra-microscopic levels. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but thinking about that something so small and unnoticeable were actually the ones that laid the foundation in this world, it made me truly feel alive. What once seen as a lifeless, weak figure in front of the mirror in every morning of my dull, lifeless days, was no more. It was only an old paradigm written by my own subconscious mind that I'm unable to achieve anything worthwhile throughout my own lifetime. But that's all in the past. For now, I'm going to erase the entirety of this self-depreciating paradigm. The remnants of this shattered past, there will be no more; only pure white of emptiness that will soon unfold. What once seen as a completely blank paradigm of innocence was no more, as I decided to channel my deepest feelings and staying true to what I believe in. And within this constructed paradigms from what was originally a blank slate of thought, it will soon laid upon the foundation, in order to write my own reality, just like the story in general I'm telling you before. Life which is imbued with meaning. That's all I want to say within this medium called the 'New Text Document'. The End

I must say sorry, first thing of all, for not being able to read your piece this late in the competition.

But I have to say, it's very interesting, and I like it very much. I would have thought this would make the finals, if I was to read this sooner, but it's a shame that you didn't.

Your writing, it really pulled me in, from the start to the end. Actually the beginning part for me was a little bland, but after that, everything was becoming very interesting to read.

It's really thought-provoking for me. I had to read your piece really slowly to get everything. The mere idea in the writing and your use of words keep me from standing up, I can't find any faults in your grammar and vocabulary. Not bad, not bad at all!

I have never known this kind of writing before, nor the possibility of combining fapping and Quantum Physics, hmmmm. I don't think I have anything to add to your writing, coz most of them is your subjective point of view. But maybe the whole science stuff might have some faults, though.

Overall, I really like it. I think this piece worth a spot in the final poll, but then again it's a shame it didn't make it.

yeah I'm just kind of get the reference from the Quark thingy from Wikipedia and other sources without in-depth further studies, so there might be something faulty about it =D
