Kasumi, a class president at Puss High School
was so focused in her studies she lost track of time.
At midnight, she was trapped inside the school.
The school was shut, with all the doors locked...
Can Kasumi get out of the school unhurt...?
Not a 5 star as previously had issue with game extraction from file, but thus the issue has been fixed. Now just need to re-download the game and it should work fine. Kinda fun tbh
The game link is fixed and i removed my previous comment so that people out there can see that it's not so bad of a game to play, re-d/l the game as they fixed it yesterday
As a puzzler-style game, this is not bad. The puzzles do require thought and exploration, although you can brute-force some of them before you get all the clues (mostly the "combination" locked doors).
I docked one star simply because the game is too short for $10. I spent maybe two and a half hours on the game. The only reason it even took that long is because you have to, quite literally, click everything that gives you a response even though there is, at most, two things hidden in the room. Now I did pick this up on sale for $4 and I probably had four dollars worth of fun with this one. The scenes are also too short, although Kasumi was well-acted.
Minor spoilers follow
The second star was for gameplay considerations. The aforementioned "click on everything" routine, the fact that some things are not translated - specifically the password for a computer, combined with the fact that I could not back out of the password-entry screen to look at the memory for the password (as a QOL thing for you all, take a screenshot of it when you find it). Just matching up the characters was not bad on it's own, the fact that I had to kill the game and reload was the bad part - if they had translated that, I would have had a shot from memory. Certain events could use a bit more guidance - or maybe just a better translation...
It’s a good game, but some parts are really confusing. But you get a note sheet that guides you through it in case you get stuck. Some parts aren’t translated properly but still really fun. Remember to save your progress;)
The translation is poor, as well as some areas of the game not being translated. Scenes are ok, voice acting is great, character is cute, but that's about it.
Kasumi is a studious, overworked class president who falls asleep while studying and wakes up in school at midnight. With all the doors locked, to go home she needs to find an alternative way of leaving. To do this, she'll have to solve puzzles and gather items in order to figure out the passcode she needs to escape. The kicker is that she needs to do this while avoiding being raped by gross men who are hanging around the school at night.
The art is good, and I appreciate there being voice acting for Kasumi, as well as an option on the title screen to replay ero scenes you've gotten. But I can't bring myself to give this a 5/5. I don't have any big issues with this, just a few minor gripes that add up. For one, there's a lot of 'interact with every locker/shelf/cupboard' until you find the specific one that has an item, which can get a bit tedious. If you're struggling, the game comes with a strategy guide, but the timing on certain events can get thrown off if you aren't careful. It can be a bit tedious to get all the scenes, because most come with a "Kasumi loses her virginity" variant that requires replays to acquire.
If you don't mind the tedium of RPGMaker games and the previews look hot to you, you'll enjoy this game.
