Story

Kawano Hatsuyuki is a third-year student at Shirosaki Academy. Given the school is designed to help prepare students for higher education, Hatsuyuki is one of the rare few troublemakers. He begrudgingly comes to school day after day since he's in danger of not being able to graduate. The month is December, when the first snow of the year falls. While wandering around the older parts of town, Hatsuyuki stumbles upon a beautiful girl adorned in a white dress, who seems to be looking for a rabbit amidst the snow. A few days after that peculiar nighttime encounter, the girl, Sakura, transfers to Hatsuyuki's school--in order to take Hatsuyuki along his final winter. The seasons change, and those 1,095 long days finally come to an end. Winter has faded, and spring is in the air. Looking back fondly on those snowy memories, the boy stands tall as he's about to graduate. From the first snow to the blooming cherry blossoms... Congratulations.

A waitress at the same café that Hatsuyuki works at.

Graduated from Shirasaki Academy the year prior. Despite being a talented individual, as her work as student council president would show, she managed to fail her entrance exams, forcing her to take a gap year.

Though she acts calm and relaxed no matter who she's dealing with, sometimes she doesn't come across as entirely genuine, and it can be hard to grasp how she truly feels.

She's closer to Hatsuyuki than any of his classmates are. Perhaps something happened between them in the past?

A girl who can often be found practicing at the skate rink by the station.

She's a rather good skater, and rumors have it that she was once in the running for a spot at the world championships.

At school, she's popular, polite, and has a lot of friends. A certain incident makes her wary of Hatsuyuki, and she decides to get overly involved to ensure he does nothing untoward to Tamaki or Nozomu.

She's extremely naive and has to rely on others for just about everything. She comes across as more of a rabbit than a polar bear.
