Fujimaru bringing it with some new character designs. Maybe its due to so many of his works existing in a kind of shared universe (the Love is a Battlefield series, the post-apocalyptic flooded world setting) but this work stands out even amongst everything else he's done thanks to the sharper expressions in the eyes of our heroine and the much blockier shape of our hero's... everything, I guess. So many of the most accomplished h-artists tend to rely on a stable design of four or five faces (or less in some cases *cough*NaPaTa*cough*), so it's encouraging when someone like Fujimaru demonstrates a willingness to bring something new to the table.

I wouldn't be surprised if you start seeing more of it. I read two (unreleased) chapters today that had similar detailed inner-mouth cumshots and I could see it developing as another form of "x-ray view" that hentai artists utilize in works.

Another good little read from Fujimaru, with his trademark emotional investment in the characters. The last page reveals she still has some ulterior motives monetarily, but also some growing feelings for the MC to make us hope for the best for both of them as a couple.

I would say the last page implied the opposite. You see it in the radical change in her philosophy. She started out the story as a person seeking excitement and pleasure, but she ended the story as a girl seeking to be treated as ordinary. The selfishness that she mentioned is that she has knownly manipulated and directed him in all their sexual encounters throughout the story. She can read him like a book and get what she wants out of him, including becoming his girlfriend. She loves him so she wants to make sure everyone benefits, but she is the party with agency.

So after re-reading the story, My theory is that everything before she arrived at his house was her recalling the past showing how they got to that point considering her inner monologue through out the story.
Considering her comments about her family’s situation, the explanation of why she dress the way she does, and the comment about being treated as an ordinary girl, I believe that she is just trying to enjoy the last few years of being a teen before having to deal with the problems of adulthood. She seems to have a better understanding of what to expect once you enter the real world. The only way for her to get money to enjoy these last few years of relatively low responsibilities is to play around with sugar daddies. To do that she probably has to play different roles with her clients, thus her comment about being treated as an ordinary girl.
The start of their sexual relationship was just a whim of hers, but since to provided results, she carried on.
The reason I think we are seeing this as a past to present is, When he brought up splitting apart and his reasons for coming to the decision. She started to recall the past (the entire story) since he relies on her so much, and she has come to have feelings for him this is the solution she comes up with for the both of them. Thus the title of the story.

I think you’re right. I think she’s looking at it from a pragmatic point of view. Almost as if there was a check list to see if he would make a good partner. Will I be happy with him if we continued on( from the comment of her being able to be her self), will he cherish me (from his comments on relying on her, and her comments on paying his debts), and will he be able to provide for our family (Probably really important for her since she didn’t grow up well off in the first place).
My take is, at the end they were at a crossroad since he was thinking of breaking everything off, and she was evaluating her feelings and what the future might possibly hold. The feelings were there or I don’t think she would have blushed so much when asking to meet his parents.
