Another time, place and artist, that could have gotten downright ugly ... Praise Be to Our Most High Lord and Savior (a.k.a. Homunculus) and the Parthenon of Vanilla Gods, of whom (IIRC) Enuhani-sensei is a member, that this story stayed on the lovey-dovey vanilla path.
EDIT: Went back and looked it up - one of THIS artist's earlier works on Fakku was "Beyond The Tears", which proves he or she is capable of producing work for which the only reaction is: "DAYUM".

Well, the reason for the husband's behavior was just as expected. Looks like tailing him led to an excellent new play for them, though. :D

Hmm, yes, perhaps an unnecessary concern, but one that brought us some sweet housewife vanilla loving...! So I'd say it was completely necessary, yes.
I must say, I like how her first thought wasn't to confront/cut things off or cheat because she thinks he is, but rather to try and 'win him back'. What a lovely wife he has, the lucky guy.
Great ending though. Well yes, buying a gift for your wife in secret is always a great way to start a misunderstanding, especially if you go with a female colleague. And such misunderstandings are usually resolved in the best way possible, kind of like in this release.
