A Welcome Change of Pace

I went in with no expectations and having no knowledge of the series prior. The †˜slice of life’ approach to the characters and their interactions throughout the day are pleasing to read and a hard contrast to the usual content here. The art further pushes this simplicity with clean line work and backgrounds that allow the panels that are detailed to pop that much more. There is a dark theme that resonates in the background like threads waiting to snare and entangle the characters away from their charming life. I found Canis to be a pleasant treat and look forward to the next release by Kuma! (That teaser for next volume tho.. >squeal<)
