I just wonder why the people that don't like NTR read these chapters despite their being a tag system. I avoid the stuff that I don't like here but NTR isn't one of them.
The hate is not surprising and perhaps only natural. I think that if you want to really appreciate this type of content you may need to confront ideas and thoughts about the darker side of humanity. You may need to even wrestle with your own feelings and opinions to come to fully grasp it. This isn't an easy thing to do, and perhaps the easiest thing to do is hate it. Hate the things that bring unpleasantness into your life. It's perfectly normal.
Of course unbridled rage is harmful and should be discouraged, but I can see where it comes from. But either way, the tag seems to be quite popular, despite all the hate.
Not that I disagree entirely, but people hate things that disgust them. NTR is built on betrayal, force, and destruction. I think the person who doesn't find those things unpleasant to be the oddity. If that floats your boat (or anyone's) so be it, but people who "don't/can't understand NTRs unpopularity" aren't really trying.
In a way, this kind of is NTR, as Kasumi and Takumi will never have a normal relationship but in the end, Takumi still got to have sex with Kasumi. Also, Takumi never gets in a situation where he is cucked, since NTR means stealing someone's lover. Am I over-analyzing this?
I don't feel bad for the guy one bit. He shoved his opportunities away. Sometimes, there are no take backs. I wouldn't call this NTR. I'll just call it "squandered his chances".
Again, I don't think this can be considered Netorare. There is no cucking. There is just a dude learning about who his childhood friend really is and just accepting what is in front of him. Not really a tale of someone being stolen, just one of someone facing reality
Honestly, is this NTR? They don't have a relationship until the end, which is the whole hang up for the woman. No one forced her into this, she is doing it as punishment, but it seems to have led to a relationship of sorts. Kinky, but doesn't follow other NTR on the site.
I think he dodged a bullet there. Rather than try to understand his fears of rejection/ social anxiety, it seems like her plan is "become a huge slut to punish him". But she could have asked him out. She could have communicated. Alot of H seems to forget, it actually requires two people to be in a relationship, not just one person and a robot/npc/slave. There are plenty of women who would be willing to behave like an adult to get his attention.
If anything, this seems to be an attack on 'herbovoire' men, even though he doesn't really fall into many of the stereotypes.
He did treat her pretty poorly earlier in life though, like he couldn't even be stand to be seen with her in public because he was too embarrassed. His classmates were obviously just giving him a hard time, not like they were bullying him over her affection for him. Doesn't really make sense to me, why would you be embarrassed to be seen with someone who obviously a lot of people find attractive? Should've just gotten together back then and been like "Well now she's my GIRLFRIEND." and flipped those dorks the bird lol. This one was pretty much deserved, if both people can't be bothered to get past their embarrassment and work towards building their relationship it's usually a good thing for all people involved in the long run that it fails.
Thank god people don't suffer from mental health issues or have anything that prevents them from behaving anything but according to your exacting demands, 24/7. Thank god you are here to decree acceptable behavior and met out justice for any 'abnormal' devation from that. :/
I mean sure she turned into a ridiculous uberslut which is kind of over the top but if you're gonna be a pussy who can't come out and admit you like a girl you can't expect her to wait around for you. Especially when she's hot af. Protag got what he deserved. Good story all around.
I keep expecting people to stop putting all the blame on men for failed couplings, but seems there are still plenty of people who view the women as passive dolls, incapable of free will...
The dude straight up pushed her away, how is he not to blame? If you wanna bring gender politics into this manga then whatever, but the interpretation you're reading into it seems to be pretty forced. Dude liked a girl, he couldn't say it and vocally rejected her when it was suggested he liked her, so she, like a reasonable human being, took that to mean he wasn't interested and went her own way.
Well what can I say, the tag is there for all to see.
I have to say though it's...pretty tame, as far as NTR goes. I found the ending somewhat interesting in a way?
Thing is, he may have loved her one-sidedly, but it was never returned so I'm not sure how it could be...taken away from him in the NTR sense? She's just a slut. I suppose her saying she loved him and it being implied that he might have been able to stop this from happening if he reciprocated her feelings earlier, but too bad I guess.
And rather than crying and running away, he actually...just accepts that she's a slut. I'd have just expected him to never go see her again or something but turns out he too, became one of the guys who just keep going back to her.
The ending I probably would have wanted was for him to accept the reality of who she is and just...move on, I guess. But I suppose he couldn't resist the promise of free sex, so I can't really blame him.
