I feel the same unsettled feeling when I stumble upon female rape tags. I read to find redeeming qualities but no luck. This is actually really good for its genre. Normally the guy breaks free and revenge happens.

...This was almost physically painful to read, I must say. Though I'm sure there are some who would enjoy it.

Actually, human trafficking is a huge problem in China, but not usually like this.
Usually it's when someone trying to escape China, and the mafia tries to "help" by funding there immigration. (Usually to the US.)
They then owe the mafia a huge amount of money and have to work in underground sex parlours for what basically amounts to the rest of there lives or risk having the mafia slaughter there entire family.
Which would be bad enough if they could actually work off the debt. But they "charge" the poor souls for ridiculous amounts for literally everything. Housing, electricity, running water, clothes, food, napkins, breathable air. You name it. They get it tacked onto there already enormous debt so they can never hope to pay it off.
