Great ending though. Well hey, he might just be a horny...erm, tree god? But at least what he said really was true, and with his help, creeps won't come near her anymore. I think she knows that and that's why she prays to the shrine at the end.
Well, at least with this, she can look forward to the future knowing that her next boyfriend will be the one.
