I need to figure out what makes dark skin elves with long light colored hair so sexy?!?! I need to figure out the scientific reason.
-glad to see these two "end up together" lol. I can only imagine a vanilla chapter between these two lol!
-@H-Connoisseur, I feel that! Elves are the perfect mix of cute, sexy, graceful, mature, beautiful, that is only enhanced by their physical features as well as their long life and experience. Add dark skin to that and it just takes it to the next level lol.
Remember, ever elf is technically an Onee-san lol.
(How the eyes are drawn is one of the most important things for me in a character design.)
I fell in love with Dark Elf girls as soon
as I started playing EverQuest in 2001.
Where do Dark Elves come from? What's their origin?
Dark Elves are mentioned in passing by Tolkien, who
was influenced by the Dökkálfar of Norse mythology.
However, the modern version of the Dark Elf (the version we love)
did not appear until 1978, when Gary Gygax created a race of evil
dusky elves ("Drow") for Dungeons & Dragons. This idea became
the nucleus for a vast body of Drow lore (including a detailed city,
culture, religion, and society) that was gradually built up during
the next twenty years.
Today, the inky, slinky Dark Elves have become
a big favorite with fantasy fans and cosplayers.
I cannot offer a scientific explanation for the Dark Elf's
appeal, but the combination of pointy ears, long silver
hair, and grey/bluish/purplish skin is exquisitely exotic,
which is a quality that appeals to almost all men (and
plenty of women).
Also, Eroi-Roe has a knack for drawing eerie eyes,
and creepy peepers always increase the exoticism.
My hypothesis:
We, as a species, mostly find tanned skin preferable to pale skin. It's a sign of a healthy body.
We, as a species, find light hair attractive as it symbolises innocence and/or purity. When we are born it is usually with lighter hair and blue eyes.
And finally, we as a species, find the exotic and unobtainable desireable. Elves, unicorns, hot demon kings and the like.
I shall have to conduct further research to find evidence supporting this hypothesis.
