I am gonna disagree. In the first chapter she paints herself as a victim at first. She says two men came in when her husband wasn't home and had their way with her. At the end you discover they were her brother in law and father in law. That doesn't make it right, but the context changes the rape into something more consensual. In this chapter she seems very much against sleeping with her old boss, but the moment that his job might be in danger again her first thought is "Oh no! I will probably have to get raped again. I wonder what he will do next time?" Not "I should help my husband be better at his job so he won't get fired."
