Yeah, I can kind of see where he's coming from. Choosing just one over the other would make one of them sad so this probably was the best way to do things.
Great ending. I guess there are just some times the girls won't accept a 3P relationship...Or at least, they say so. I'm sure something like this beach chapter would happen again.
Also, I have to say I'm very curious about how he got together with the both of them...Any chance of a couple of prequels? Although a sequel would be real nice too.

How a certain light novel, with a one volume rushed ending, with the protagonist ending up with a love interest that no one expected, with songs from its cartoon adaptation bloody written into that said volume, SHOULD HAVE ENDED!

I'm just saying for a light novel about weirdos making friends it ended with them having friends. Just because they appear in a "harem" setting doesn't mean we have to have a "harem" ending. So I think it accomplished what it was after and I can be happy with the ending

The characters in this smut comic look so much like the Haganai protagonists. And Haganai should be smut in my opinion.Â

Your enjoyable ending needed to be our protagonist not ending up with anyone?! I'd rather have a harem ending considering that he is in a harem setting.
You have many volumes where the plot doesn't move much then you have the final volume where everything is suddenly resolved and you have a time skip! It is as if someone said, we will not publish anymore volumes for you, wrap it up this instant!

I read Haganai, you just made it very vague so I couldn't tell what you were talking about. And I like the ending, was exactly what it needed to be and was the author backing away from the sellout maneuvers he was pulling in the middle of the story with the harem bullshit.

Some light novel featuring a man with dirty blond hair, a woman with bright blond hair and another woman with black hair. An artist was hired to draw every single character including the men in a very sexually appealing fashion which became the real (and I daresay) the only draw for that book! Heard of Haganai?Â
