Like, the cheating is basically a form of throwing a tantrum at not getting her way?
I mean, I get that she wants kids, but what the husband says is pretty true. He's being realistic, and probably means well. Like, he wants the happiest possible life for the both of them, and she just betrays him. I feel really bad for the guy, he doesn't deserve this...

Well, I want to...At least she seems to regret it somewhat, but the fact remains that she went and betrayed him TWICE, willingly, of her own volition? Tell you what, try regretting your actions once he kicks you out of the house when he finds out, see how much sympathy that garners.

I do agree that they're not ready to have a child, but the guy misses the emotional aspect to her request. There are always subtext and irrationality in any relationship, the guy failed to read that despite having been married for a while and knowing her background.
I feel bad for the lady since it's clear that she's sheltered to begin with and she got taken advantage of in her lack of knowledge. They both fail at communicating but with the husband I feel like he didn't even try to understand the feeling she had behind her request.

Well, she has already cheated on her husband previously so the excuse of her husband not hearing her side is a bit iffy, to be frank. At the end she has cheated on her husband at least three times which means she has had ample time to change her mind and stop. The old fart also warns her repeatedly, even going so far as guilt tripping her, but she still does not stop.
That said, I do feel bad for the lady because she is clearly not equipped to deal with the real world and the consequences her actions will have later. The story comes across as a coming of age tale where the brutality of adult life hits her square in the face. Every action has a consequence and now she will most likely have to deal with them alone. Ugh. I'm sad now.

It’s rarely that simple. You’ve got to remember what country this story is set in. I’m not approving, I just know how seriously having children is taken in Japan, just like in other East Asian countries. Even by the woman who wants to conceive. Add in the fact that a lot of cultures aren’t the best at accepting foreigners into a family (lack of fresh genes) and you can see how this scenario can happen.

This almost makes me want to see a sequel where the husband finds out and kicks her out. It's pretty hard to feel any sympathy for her on the last page when all the pain that she knows is coming is self-inflicted. Hell, the owner even told her straight up that he wasn't going to take responsibility for the kid, so that's another door that's closed off to her.

The part that really got me was the last page. She loves her husband and knows what she is doing is wrong but can’t stop visiting that shop owner for sex. I took her crying as regret that she if continuously falling for the shop owner, got pregnant from him rather than her husband, and betrayed him despite the fact he is working hard for her. she’s a spoiled shelter brat who doesn’t know how the real world works which is why she succumbed to this.Â

I think this is a case of woman being lonely. Her husband may be providing for her economic needs, but it appears he's ignoring her emotional needs. She tried to talk him about it, not just about wanting a child, but also her desire for sex and he continued to blow her off. So she gave into temptation and cheated with a man who was willing to listen and comfort her.

I love Aiya's art and the story was very engaging! This topic is always a hot scenario for me because it's a way to release some "moral depravity".

 It was sad to see her cry in the end. She regretted it but it's written very well so we understand why she did it. She felt trapped and never in control of her life. She decided to seek comfort from another man.

its a good guess given that the series is called the "X Daughter's Circumstances", im expecting a mother to apear.
