This seems to be the second part of the story. Question is: Is the first part hidden somewhere in the backlog of fakku or was it released in a magazine that wasn't licensed at that time and thus is lost forever?

Just to let everyone know, there's no real backlog to speak of for both Shitsurakuten and BEAST. At most there are some chapters from last month's issue that haven't been released, but that's typically because they're waiting to be published and not because they're not done.
As already mentioned, the prequel predates the subscription service on a whole, and the first Shitsurakuten issue by a year.

The original chapter was in Shitsurakuten 2015-05 so sadly before we started releasing Shitsurakuten.
