I believe that this is a what-if situation. Let us start off with the conversation between the main protagonist--named Kusagano--, and a girl--named Tsuruga--who is a classmate and in the same library committee with him. They have a conversation about the upcoming summer break and a final meeting that happens on that day. Afterwards, the main protagonist receives a confession from Tsugura. Although the feeling is mutual, the sight of Kusagano's friends results in his rejection with Tsugura. This leads up to the events we see in the summer break. This is where things get interesting. The final scene is the two main characters set at a place strikingly similar to the beginning of the story. We proceed to see a card with the plans from Tsugura about how she wants to tell her feelings to "him". This contradicts with the events that supposedly happened. Didn't she already expressed her feelings? Also, the sentence, "That reminds me. Summer break is almost here, isn't it?" is the exact same phrase used at the start. In addition, the artist took time to redraw the same scene. Was the author just lazy or is there some sort of underlying significance? What if all the events that took place were just a "dream" where an alternate scenario played out?
I hope this is true. Either way, this isn't nearly as bad as NTR. If this actually happened, then the protagonist is super lucky that he still gets her.
Damn. I know I'm pretty late, but does this have a sequel or something? I want to know what happened to them after this, if there even is one. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a really good and well written heartbreak story, but the ending kinda makes me hope that there is a sequel with them happy or something.
People say it's NTR, but she lost her virginity to her LOVER. Granted, it was in a forced situation with douchebags urging them on and joining in with oral and anal play, but still, there could be some happiness possible in a future encounter.
awww, craap! Really killed my mood. This sudden NTR shoved down your throat, albeit really well crafted NTR. Totally got me feeling horrible. Too bad, it was a boner kill. Note to the artist; study the mood curve you're crafting in a doujinshi. Here you went 2 chapters with cutesy vanilla and then all of a sudden a twist in the mood, BAM, have some melancholy!
I wouldn't say she doesn't want to do it with them, at least not before he accepts her feelings and confesses his own, but yeah, I can't really see this as netorare. Considering what we see and hear about her, she seems to have been doing this even before confessing to him, but as Xelgadis said, might end this once they accept each other and start an actual relationship. There's nothing to steal/NTR before this, though.
On the other hand, False ReRAPEtionship might qualify as NTR instead.
Pretty sure she only started meeting the other 2 guys after she got rejected, because they said they wanted to help her recover, plus brats talking shit about others, especially quiet ones, are pretty common in schools :P
