Pulls up with five swords and bag of various sizes of rope and chain so who wants to help me with lingchi and a metal whipping before going bloddy eagle on the ex
I was gonna say I'd join in with tiki torches, but i feel like those would just break, which gave me a better idea. I'll bring one of those giant pickle jars. All that salty juice should make it feel real good in the cuts and scrapes he gets.
Everyone seems to be overlooking some dark, subtle hints in the story.
It's possible that Asatsuki's ex used to be a nice guy (just like Yasashi),
until she "trained" him to be abusive, in order to satisfy her masochism.
Far from being a pitiable victim, Asatsuki may, in fact, be a manipulative
sadomasochist who likes to corrupt nice guys. Such women do exist.
While I too considered that possibility, I think it's more natural to jump to the conclusion that she was abused to the point where she came to accept herself as a masochistic woman due to the efforts of her ex-boyfriend and, by the end, she's simply happy that her new boyfriend genuinely desires her. Her new proclivities towards masochism, however, combined with her previous training may now be leading her to ask her new boyfriend to abuse her in the old one's place. Anyway, that's just my impression based on my first read through.
@DVs8:
That's a reasonable interpretation. It's different from mine,
but both our takes lead to the same disturbing conclusion:
Yasashi is eventually going to be corrupted (intentionally
or unintentionally) and turned into an abuser.
Im under the conclusion that deep down women want a dominate male to be their master. Not a super sadist, asshole who treat you like a toy and beats you (even thought some want that i guess), but just a steady hand ass slapper and pussy crusher male. Do your duty men, slap dat ass and say sweet nothings.
Or it could just be the people that let me fuck them in my life.... the misses is gonna like her new collar.
Not all women want that. Just those with dependent sub tendencies who also happen to be straight. What you just read was a story of a dependent sub moving on from an abusive relationship to a healthy one.
Some women bring a trunkful of psychological baggage with them,
but Asatsuki has brought a 40-boxcar trainload. She's a hot mess.
Worse, she's clearly about to go full yandere on Yasashi.
I have noticed that "the madwoman" is a common (and very old)
trope in Japanese culture. That may or may not tell us something
disturbing about Japanese society.
Well, somebody has issues...Its too bad we don't learn his name or where he lives, because anyone who would mistreat such a cute girl in what sounds like an almost comically horrible way, deserves at least a beating.
That's quite the title.
I'm...Not sure what to think about her wanting him to treat her at least somewhat similarly to her ex, as in treating her like a cock holster and not a lover...But hey, at least she's definitely better off with our protagonist.
Also, I have no idea who her ex is, but he certainly deserves a solid punch to the face.
"I'm not sure what to think about her wanting him to treat her at least some-
what similarly to her ex, as in treating her like a cock holster and not a lover."

Psychos (in unison): "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru."
'Ex': "Nani!?"
The rest is elementary.
EDIT: APPROVED - FUND IT!
