I think it needs to be pointed out that vanilla (in sexual terms) can also mean just plain, regular sex, regardless of whether it's lovey dovey or not; that is, there's nothing "crazy" going on like double penetration, gangbangs, or BDSM, to name a couple of examples. Kind of like in this release. I don't know how FAKKU ultimately decides what is or isn't vanilla, but at least to me, in this case, the tag is appropriate.

I should also mention that a story could have lots of diabetes inducing stuff, and yet not be "vanilla" to some because the sex acts in it aren't "normal."

Sadly we have no estabelished description of tags and what a chapter needs to have to be tagged with a specific tag, it's just that the vastly majority of vanilla chapters on fakku are lovey-dovey, they show a level of romance between the individuals on the novel, which this one chapter don't really shows, and while we have chapters that show that and aren't tagged vanilla we also have chapters that don't show it and are tagged as the like. In the end it goes more like what the uploader feels and I don't really think that's very nice towards the readers.
