Hmm, ... opinions may vary as to whether to regard Eleanora as a genuine "ojousama", by virtue of the fact that the story is not set in Japan. Also, it's just the way the artist/author structured the story; the Baron's son might be a genuinely nice fellow, coupled with probably the social norms of the day that one should be married by a certain age, but he will probably never replace or substitute Eleanora's and Carrie's mutual love/lust for each other. One might even argue whether he deliberately slept in another room after he took Eleanora's virginity, suspecting if not knowing that Carrie would (a-hem) "subsequently take care of things which he himself couid not do."
In The End ... it's good enough to be APPROVED!
