I feel fairly confident he is a scumbag. He took her past the edge of her comfort zone in a public place and carried toys with him. The only thing missing would be a trifecta of slipping off the condom while she wasn't looking.

I agree, the story is incomplete and interrupted abruptly. There is more to the story but with the way the title is framed, the way the males character is conveniently prepared for every step of the way she ultimately really wants to travel on I suspect some curveball about his identity. Is he a ghost, haunting this location or perhaps a spectral manifestation of her desires and naughtiest dreams...? Is the story we've seen only a memory, a flashback (hence the choppiness) where she's replaying the hottest points preceding her happy ( or tragic) current situation/ life...? Guess we will all be waiting to find out...
