I bet Kyouka is related to him and the ailing mother was a girl his father impregnated. Thats why Kyouka calls him a spoiled brat. He got all the m money but she and her mother got nothing.
Unpopular opinion: I†˜m disappointed with the route the story took. It started with an interesting comcept of the main girl bullying him and him using her need of money against her and somehow ended up as an ordinary harem story. And it never even was shown how he got the girl to forgive him for raping her. The other characters just mentioned them getting closer. So much potential wasted. But that’s just my opinion...
I'm with you on that, friend. It feels like this story wanted to focus on the MC and Kyouka but instead it just became him banging random chicks...pretty unsatisfying.
I'm pretty happy to see another chapter in this series! So...One girl of the trio actually really likes him after having sex with him, eh? Thing is...He's kind of fixated on Kyouka, even thinking of her when Asano confessed she loves him. I almost feel kind of bad for her...Oh well, maybe if he takes the harem route or Kyouka lets her two friends join in sometimes...? And also, it's nice to finally get some background and explanation as to why Kyouka even decided to bully him to begin with, apart from using his money to help her mother. Envy...And from envy to worry, and eventually to love, perhaps? Either way, as always, I simply cannot wait for the next chapter where he will finally be able to confront her and have a talk with her. And well...Maybe do a bit more than just talking. A bit sad that it says this series will be coming to a close in the next one, but I'm at least hoping for a great finale!
Wait what? That she bullied him for envy I can kinda understand but she was worried? Wasn't his problems caused by her (partially)? Also I know love works in some mysterious ways but falling in love with your bully? That's kinda messed up.
I don't think he ever resented her specifically. He had this kind of "everyone is against me" mentality at the beginning, so I get the feeling that the bullying was more of a hindrance to him than a crisis. The fact that she thought something about him that he didn't understand was enough to catch his interest apparently. Well, it might be too early to call it "love" but there's some sort of attraction going on.
