The old familiar "case of mistaken identity" trope culminates in Erika coming clean regarding her feelings for Nakamura (Kou-chan) ... IT'S SUPER-EFFECTIVE!
What were the odds of there being not two persons bearing the same surname in the story, but THREE?
And that last page ... seems that "a Grandmother knows" at the least of Erika's feelings (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).
Ah yes, nothing like jealousy to spur someone on, not to mention his...description of his marriage interview partner also hit a nerve with her, apparently.
But I must say, the way she kind of pleaded through teary eyes for him not to get married was just SO ADORABLE! Nobody can resist such a thing.
Great ending though. I actually wondered how they were going to pull the 'misunderstanding' thing if that was the direction the plot would take...And well, unmentioned brothers.
Also, it's a really small thing, but the way she kind of held his clothes on the last panel while he petted her head was really nice. I really liked it.
