Nice read. I kinda hate that it was open ended because you wanna know what happens to them so I guess I gotta wish for a sequel.

I always wonder why they'd off and marry some other person when the perfect one is right there...next to them the whole time.
Well, I'd say better late than never, so she should just get a divorce and be done with it, get with this guy who clearly actually cares for her.
Overheard the family talking about it becoming a 'problem', huh. Damn. I'd blame them, but really it's society that looks down on relationships like theirs. Getting in the way of sweet Vanilla love is simply unforgivable!
Great ending though. I like how they framed it to look like the grandma was smiling about their reunion, kind of like, they can finally be happy together after so long?
