Well, for me if the story was intended for the reader to feel sorry for her bc her hubby can't get it done, any empathy I'm supposed to have is nonexistent. It seems she felt compelled to tell her "friends" her problems and not deal with them with him. And her wanting to make him take care of someone else's kid is below bottom-feeder level.
For real. The worst thing is how innocent she acts all the time, while in the end she doesn't even feel bad about doing this and even want to go farther by having a kid.
I think NTR (netorare/netorase) is one of those categories that has both a broad and a narrow definition like forced or loli. In the broad sense, it can be anything dealing with cheating or cuckolding which this one falls under. It's really only in the narrow sense where it has to be specifically that one of the parties is aroused by it being cheating/cucking itself and is doing it for that sake.
Kind of like in the narrow sense loli is specifically petite preteen girls, but in the broad sense, it can be used to describe any underage/looks underage girl. Or in the narrow sense, some people will only claim it's forced if the girl/guy is fighting a certain amount and never even hints at enjoying what happens, but in the broad sense can just be if one of the characters objects but the other makes them anyway regardless of if they do that hentai thing where they liked it by the end.
i think that NTR no longer requires the cheated person to figured it out......at least going by authors in general. Even JAVs have title with NTR in big bold letters where the "partner" never finds out about the infidelity.
I belive that the main difference between plain cheating and "NTR" nowadays is that in plain cheating the woman is a willing participant from the begining, meanwhile in "NTR" the woman (or man on those rare male-NTR) is unwilling* at the start and eventually is broken into embracing her lust over her feelings for her partner/crush
A good example of this is "Good GF gone bad" were the girl didnt want to cheat but was blackmailed into sex and then started to fall (with big help of Hentai logic) for the big dick intense sex. The boyfriend never finds out about it yet this is being sold as netorare.
I think that this is the criteria that the industry seems to be using both in hentai and JAVs.
If anything this shows that the original NTR definition is too narrow to be useful and is being expanded.
That said the will of this character was so weak that it barely could count as "NTR"
*unwilling be it straight out rape, blackmail, trickery or hypnosis.
LOL...I so know where you're coming from. If you're hinting about the title I'm thinking about, yeah, there was nothing NTR in there. If you call that a NTR then not only is this title a NTR, any heartbreak theme is a NTR and that criteria for the theme is WAY too broad. This has been a sporadic but ongoing problem with the NTR tag. You should comfortably know what is the theme of the story you're going to be reading by looking at the tags attached to it; it's not the case with the a few NTR stories, or the few that should be classified as NTRs but aren't. I do speculate in that other series, there are a couple side chapters Fakku has not released (yet, hopefully) that might shed some light on what made the writer say the compilation in general was a NTR. Hopeful, Fakku does release them because up into the point of the latest release, it's been a tale of a petty/insecure/psycho boyfriend.
I know the NTR tags are notoriously ambiguous. Even the Japanese often
default to the NTR acronym, without making any distinction between netori, netorare, and netorase.
However, as long as the husband remains blissfully unaware of his wife's
infidelity, this chapter cannot qualify as NTR in any way, title be damned.
Maybe Kirimoto Yuuji calls it "NTR" because the wife intends to carry her
infidelity to its logical extreme by allowing another man to impregnate her,
but that rationale is highly debatable.
I agree. It's extreme cheating, for sure, because Ami intends
to become pregnant by another man, but I don't see the NTR
angle at all. Her husband is blissfully unaware of everything
(unless a sequel proves otherwise).
There is no poor guy here just a stupid man playing a stupid game and winning his idiotic prize. Any man gullible to believe it gets exactly what he deserves fuck him.
I hope no one in real life ever encounters such person.
Still the artist did a great job conveying her growing lust, great work Kirimoto Yuuji-sensei!
