I consider myself very good at English, with a large vocabulary, but... I had to look up what the heck "gaunt" meant. Seems like an odd choice of words.
Actually just look at the raw, this word also can mean exhausted and this translation missed "morning" so it should be "lately you look exhausted in the morning"
Good work, Yuzuki-san ... "rising to the occasion" when your cute (AND hot) girlfriend needed it, AND DELIVERING! So what if someone at work comments that you're looking gaunt; you know your priorities (salutes with manly tears).

In Japan the seniority and respect of when they talk with each other sometimes never fades. Other good examples are how, when sometimes when one of them marry their sensei and continue to call them sensei after the fact.
They had just started living together, so perhaps they haven't been in a relationship long enough to shake off calling one another by more formal names/titles. Sometimes calling someone a certain way just sticks as well. Take Krillin from Dragonball Z/Super for example. He still calls his wife "No.18-san" after having been married for years and raising a child together.
What a nice girl, helping the guy out and as a result letting him sleep better every night.
So...It's only fair to give back to her by having sex with her instead of letting her masturbate by her lonesome.
Great ending though. Well, being a bit gaunt can't be helped, it's worth it for keeping your girl happy.
I would not say it was framed as a bad thing in itself, it was just something she was hiding from him so he would not feel bad about not being able to satisfy her due to his work. Even keeping it secret and lying about giving him oral being enough for her was not really presented as a bad thing, simply something she did to ease his mind when he was already exhausted enough. Luckily for her he found out eventually, though, and was able to give her the pleasure she deserved as well, even if it meant getting less than enough sleep this time.
Work hours in Japan are such a big problem. It just pains me to see that a husband leaves his beautiful wife unsatisfied because of it. Not only does Reco bless us with such a sweet and amazingly drawn chapter, she also brings awareness to the state of work in Japan and its flaws. One of the reasons why Reco is my favorite artist <3
Agreed and yet adding it pains me that the peer pressure to work over-overtime is directed only at men meanwhile women are peer pressured to domesticate themselves young. The characters in this one seem fine with being stereotypical cishet, BUT [you know the rest].
My gripe didn't need to be addressed in this comic, but it would be nice to see it addressed in others somehow. "Dragon Maid" kind of does, but not really.
