Considering the escapism for me began with "guy my age has fulltime career that includes paid vacation days", yes, predictable is fine.
PS Upvote this comment if the wish fulfillment in a lot of these comics doesn't begin with "sexy lady is into me" but rather begins with "I have career with benefits and or can afford my own house/apartment where I am the only one who lives there before she shows up."

Great ending though. Yeah, it was pretty obvious that said temp was indeed her, and it was all part of her plan to get him to stay with her in her room by trapping him there with no more buses left. Smart plan!
