After Moriwaki failed to take a a chance with Uemoto-san and has lived with that regret for five years, he made it his motto to go for it and not live with regret. And after fate brings Uemoto-san and Moriwaki together again, he wasn't going to make the same mistake twice and let's his feelings be known to Uemoto-san. And in the end seeing five years of regret wash away for Moriwaki and Uemoto-san finally getting to experience what true loving vanilla sex is like made this the perfect, feel good ending.
"I made it my life's motto to always go for it."
Respect.
Also we now need a sequel where Uemoto-san brings out her old highschool uniform!!!
Unless someone can point me to a previous example, this just might be the first instance of an "Assertive Guy" here on FAKKU.
Plus, Maximum Respect for Moriwaki-san being so assertive when meeting up again with his high school crush (Umemoto-san) and deciding, unless she outright declined, not to let this chance slip away. And perhaps it's just IMHO, but Umemoto seemed to respond to his more assertive (manly) persona, than she might have in their past.
Conclusion: "He who perseveres to the end (Moriwaki) will Get Laid ... that Lucky Bastard (GRR)!"
"I made it my life's motto to always go for it."
Respect.
