My second domestication when!?

Two hanged people, something that looks like scenes with families, bard as a kid. Maybe Bard was part of a family where someone (maybe his father or an older brother) took a homunculus as a wife/partner and the stigma against such a practice got them both killed?

Not really sure where the story is going, I am mostly just guessing from the memories I have of recent chapters. Either way maybe some major reveals next time probably from the looks of it.

What a cliffhanger! I’m willing to guess that both Suzune and the Silver haired homunculus might have originally been a single homunculus and that is who that older looking Suzune might be on the last panel. But I could wrong.

Even though this is chapter 27 of this series, it still feels like there's sooo much more lol.
