Great ending though! Man, what a nice guy protagonist. Helping so many, many people/things/etc that they all want to return the favour to him. While I'd say that this kind of thing would make you want to be nicer to others, you really should just be nice without expecting anything like our protagonist and, well, if thanks just so happens to appear in the form of lovely bunny and fox girls...
By the way I also quite like the reference to the 'crane wife' story/any such similar folklore in that ending.
I remember there being another comic quite similar to this one by another author. Dozens of different animals come out of the wet work to repay the MC's kindness. It's quite hilarious.
For anyone wondering: At the end, when he makes the jab at using a loom, it's a reference to an old children's story called "The Crane Wife" in which a crane is rescued by a fisherman and repays him by turning into a human and using a loom to craft the most elegant fabrics with her own soft down
