Just to clear things up, I never said I was "betrayed" by the tags. I was "betrayed" by my expectations of Hamao's work, since it's almost always Vanilla, and diabetes-inducing Vanilla at that.
When the father said he'd be funding the institution, was he referring to an orphanage, or maybe a school? Can anyone read that sign on the first page?
Heck yeah! I love Hamao's work, and this one did not disappoint in terms of the art. I wouldn't tag this as vanilla, but the ending could be described as bittersweet... It's sad, but it could be worse: At least everyone was happy in the end, and there were no real surprises (except maybe the husband involved finding out).
Woman's love for the man was an uninspired plot device to get them to have sex. She makes no mention of her love during the act which is odd considering she is the only man she ever loved thus far and is using this as a means to get over him. The man's love for her is very slightly hinted at and never expanded on. These make the ending insanely unsatisfying.
I get that the author only has 16-18 pages for their story, but this could have been so much better than it was.
ps: that said this got me angrier than 100 ntr stories. . .fuck that dad. I need a sequel to correct this, one that tells the dad to go die in a hole. Wont happend but its the first time i truly want one. Also i need to see her in long hair like in page 2
Hmm...Vanilla and cheating tags, huh. Honestly, it was a very bittersweet release, way more bitter than sweet. She really loves him, and I think he does care for her too, but he rejected her on the basis that her father told him to stay away. As a result, the father got his wish and made her marry for his convenience. She 'looks' happy, huh? Yeah, I'm sure. I have to say, this release does a pretty good job making you hate her father, forcing a marriage on his daughter to a man she doesn't even love, getting the guy she likes to stay away...You'd think a father would want his daughter to be happy, but he's one of those that probably just sees her as a tool to use at his convenience. Kind of reminds me of a release I read quite a while back with a similar premise where despite the girl liking the protagonist, she marries someone else. Always a little depressing reading releases like this...
Yeah, this isn't really that vanilla.. I mean, she loved him sure but it's just cheating/him getting cucked in the end. I petition a new tag be made, "Bittersweet"<br>

The sex scenes were great and I loved the way she was drawn, so I'll give it points for that.
