Romantic Affairs in the Atelier

Turns out adhesive tape was invented in the 1840s, and the first cardboard boxes were being used in England as early as 1817 and the modern variety with corrugated cardboard that we're likely familiar with today became common in 1871.... It could still be in the early to mid 1800s. I just looked it up out of curiosity and thought I'd share because it was interesting.

Not "old", the clothing, his glasses, the cardboard boxes with packing tape, the way the characters spoke, the circumcision... This is very obviously modern day. Just saying...
