Well, he's a nice guy, saving her from the unwanted advances of the two playboys.
Despite them not getting along that well at first, after seeing that ending...Yeah, I think they'll get along just fine from now on. And hey, his uncle making them clean up the beach together may just be his way of being a wingman, too.

Sensei did a really great job on the dialogue for both characters

Page 14, if vaginas could talk, that one was saying, "FEED ME!"

Can never go wrong with a beach story about a tan girl in a sexy swimsuit! I want a sequel!!!

And after that *koff-koff* 'spontaneous sexy time' encounter (possibly sparked by Ami and Ryouta seeing a good side of each other, while cleaning up the beach as 'punishment', tempers were beginning to flare up, until the Sun Goddess (forgot her japanese name right now) spoke from out of the sunset: "Let Them Chill Out." ... and they both chilled out.
