I can totally see another sequel where Hiro actually starts making himself look like the last page more regularly, and when Eri first sees it, she immediately pounces on him.

Hmm, ... all indications are that Hiro ... wait for it ..... Stepped Up to be more Assertive, particularly in his relationship with Eri. And in turn, her reaction to his increase in Assertiveness can be summed up as: "Hey Mikey, I Think She Likes It!"

(pause while crickets chirp)

..... I'll just leave this here on my way out.
