I think we can all agree that deflowering a novitiate is an underrated kink. But the thing bugging me is that low-focus illustration of the supposed statue of Jesus on page 11. I'm no expert, but that didn't exactly look like a standard icon of the savior. The pose was all wrong and the halo looked more like one they put behind Buddhist saints not Catholic ones. Too low, for one thing.

The statue of Jesus is not unusual at all. It depicts Him in a standard "Sacred
Heart of Jesus" pose. The "halo" is probably a sunburst plaque affixed to the
wall behind the statue. It's a common decorative motif in church architecture.
As for the "deflowering," I don't think Ayumu is a virgin. She and Akinori behave
very much like a couple renewing an intimate relationship.

God damn is this one great story, the art style especially is so unique as always. Hopefully with this new year we'll see more by Momoyama Hato.

Based on MC's comments as the story progressed further, a proverbial Lightning Bolt was probably barely averted. Also take note - no condom, no withdrawal method or other form of contraception was present. There Can Be Only One reason for that (all together now):
