Once in a while, a *koff-koff* "casual encounter" is fine, too. Granted IMHO, Narita-kun is depicted as perhaps being attracted to (if not smitten by) Arisa-sensei from the moment they met (she has that aura about her that I class as that of a "Sexy Onee-san", thus making Narita a Man Of Culture). On her side, Arisa, having the requisite "experience" (relatively speaking) seemed to consider him cute enough to "give him some". It's a nice touch to the story progression, which (again IMHO) is not often seen.
And it's hinted that she will come back one day, and when that happens, she'll let Narita know (that Lucky Bastard) ... smells like a set-up for a sequel.
In The End, whether this stays a one-shot story, or something more comes out of it, I say ... "APPROVED!" ðŸ‘

Literary Note:
Since Kawabata is a writer, her name is probably a reference
to Yasunari Kawabata, the first Japanese author who won the
Nobel Prize for Literature (in 1968).
