Slow and Steady works sometimes, but hey, there are also times where you just have to go for it. Well hey, thee regret he felt when she left for Tokyo rather than stay there...Well, I suppose this is why you have to tell her earlier, before it's too late. But I mean, at least he took this chance to sort of do so, so better late than never, I suppose? Great ending though. Haha, so it looks like they were both thinking and worrying about the same thing, huh? They actually make quite the fitting couple, if you ask me. Also, nothing wrong with her dad showing up, right? Just tell him what happened and that you'll take responsibility, and I'm sure he'd be delighted!Â
Page 7 dialogue: "Bad boys like you need to be punished." - Saki
Me: "THIS ... IS ..... PUNISHMENT?"
The familiar and oft-used trope "a failure to communicate" sometimes gets resolved in a pleasant manner; other times, nowhere so nicely. This time around, it's most pleasant, and accompanied by the revelation that for quite a long while Yuuki and Saki apparently had "mutual feelings towards each other". Also and IMHO, Yuuki gets points for only kissing Saki while she's "out", as opposed to some other instances where the MC goes way further than just a kiss ('non-consent' is "not cool").
Opinions may vary as to whether Saki's dad showed up at the end, out of genuine fatherly concern for a drunk daughter, or perhaps he sensed "... a great disturbance in the Force" (know-what-I-mean, know-what-I-mean).
No matter ... this latest item from Tohyama-sensei is "APPROVED!"
