I agree with the comments that the MC and his girlfriend aren’t really a couple and just settled with one another which is why he reacted the way he did when shown the photo. Looks like he never noticed kinomiya, the one who truly loved him and understood him the most. Her confession to him was heartbreaking because he’s graduating and she feels like she’s being left behind. She didn’t want the regret of “what if” so she went for him and gave him her first time. sad that the confession was a little to late but I believe she won’t give up that easily. I like to believe that when she graduates she’ll go after him.

The cheating story I’m okay with . Like another person in the comments said, I don’t think the guy and girlfriend actually love each other but just kind of settled for each other hence why the guy wasn’t more freaked out over seeing that picture . The sex after that was good between the two but the ending really hits you 😞

you know I have a feeling that the MC's girlfriend didn't actually cheat on him... but at the same time I don't think they loved each other either... I just think this girl saw her opportunity to make him see her and she took it. I'm hoping to see a happy ending here tho, this is some of the best art I've seen in a good while.
