Well, when I saw S&W plus the Vanilla tag, my first impression was Soft and White Vanilla?(+Sweet)
Still, what a nice guy. He went to her rescue...Sure, he pissed his pants, but at least he managed to save her, so that's a small price to pay.
Great ending though. Well hey, it was interesting hearing about her family situation and great to hear that her mother is happy with her boyfriend who is willing to help support the two of them...But I think it'll be even better if the daughter can also have a...partner who is willing to support her for life, too.
Page 2 is probably one of the few times a manga portrays how the average male protagonist might react in real life to that sort of situation. Nonetheless, it did flip a switch (or two) with Serizaki-san, enough to give Moegi a (*cough-cough*) "reward" ... the Lucky Bastard (GRR)!
